The Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering was started at BMSIT&M in the year 2003-04. The department is currently headed by Mr H.D Kattimani, with an approved intake of 60 students and is now a VTU approved Research Centre. The Department has a team of well qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty who have also undergone professional training from leading organizations in Teaching-Learning Methodologies. All the laboratories that were set up initially are constantly upgraded keeping in view both University requirements and the research activities in the department.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates shall have passed the 2nd year Pre University or 12th standard or equivalent examination held preceding the entrance test with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the following subjects - Chemistry, Bio-technology, Computer Science, Biology or Electronics. The Candidate should have secured not less that 45% of aggregate marks in optional subjects with English as one of the languages for admissions to engineering.

For engineering admission in bangalore through management quota in BMSIT & M, the minimum percentage of marks expected is 60% as per the current norms of the management.

Management Quota: The admission under management quota is processed in the office of the BMS Educational Trust. The Council of Trustees decide the tuition fee for various courses under management quota and seats are allotted by the Chief of the Admission Committee. The BMS Educational Trust advertises regarding the admission and the application forms are issued to the aspirants in the month of June / July of every year.

College Infrastructure

Yes college is having all the facilities,infrastructure, equipment we are having all the department labs , libraries with lots of books and journal, sport rooms with sport equipment, work, computer labs, projector and smartboard , well maintained, better food is to given to hostel student

College Infrastructure

The Acedemic section of the college is good, it has spacious classrooms and well maintained laboratories. The hostel facilities are not up to the mark, we do have many options in the meals its is mostly north Indian so some people might not like the meals.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of our college is good, it has clean and well maintained classrooms and it is wifi enabled campus. The laboratories are well maintained and the we have good supply of the equipments required for conducting the practicals.
