• Candidates have to appear in the Visvesvaraya Technological University Eligibility Test (VTU-ETR) conducted by the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi.

• For BNMIT Bangalore Ph.D admissions, candidates who have qualified UGC- NET (including JRF)/ UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF)/SLET/GATE/CAT or any other national level test are exempted from the VTU Entrance test (VTU-ETR).

• Eligible candidates will have to appear for a personal interview in front of the Admissions Committee at VTU, Belagavi.
