The Brilliant Grammar School Educational Society's Group of Institutions, Ranga Reddy (BGSESGI), offers a lot of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in engineering, pharmacy, and technology. The institute usually follows a regulated admission process as prescribed by the guidelines of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE). Admissions are done based on the candidate's performance in entrance exams and academics. Normally, the admission cycle () would start sometime around May or June for the academic session set to start from August or September. For undergraduate programs, admission is granted on the basis of TS EAMCET scores only for the respective courses. Postgraduates are selected only on the basis of some respective entrance exams, such as TS PGECET and GPAT for pharmacy.

Application Process

Application Process may have different processes contingent on the program at BGSESGI:

B.Tech and B.Pharma programs:

1. Qualify in TS EAMCET examination.
2. Register for the counseling that will be done centrally by TSCHE.
3. Choose BGSESGI along with the preferred courses in the counseling.
4. If allotted a seat, he/she shall report to the institute for document verification and fee payment at the institute.

M.Tech programs:

1. Qualify in TS PGECET examination.
2. Apply through the centralized counseling process.
3. Attend counseling and select BGSESGI in case of an allotment.
4. Do the admission formalities in the institute.

Diploma programs:

1. Clear TS POLYCET.
2. Take part in central counseling.
3. College selection and the choice of a diploma.
4. Adhere to the admission-related affairs in case of allotment at the institute.

M.Pharma programs:

1. Qualify GPAT or TS PGECET examination.
2. Apply through the respective counseling process.
3. Attend counseling and choose BGSESGI if alloted any.
4. Complete admissions with in the institute.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Tech: The college offers seven B.Tech courses with an intake of 510 seats. Admissions are done in two categories: Category A (70% seats) is filled through counseling of TS EAMCET, while Category B (30% seats) has its procedure based on merit of the college in consult with the TSCHE guidelines. For the second year, students with a 3-year diploma are admitted through ECET.

M.Tech: The institute offers 6 specializations in M.Tech with a total of 72 seats. Admissions are precisely based on the score of TS PGECET, followed by counseling. A B.E./B.Tech degree is required in the relevant discipline.

B.Pharma: The college offers B.Pharma with admissions processes almost similar to that of B.Tech-through the first 100% seat allocation of TS EAMCET.

Diploma: Five-diploma programs with 180 seats-bestowed on the basis of polycet rank.

M.Pharma: The college, offers M.Pharma programs in several subject-specific specializations, offering admission on the basis of GPAT or TS PGECET scores.
