BS Patel Polytechnic, Mehsana Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has blocks of hostels for boys that have been constructed on the campus accommodating 780 boys. The said blocks have been constructed in modern architectural splendor with state-of-the-art facilities like a reading room, TV room, separate safe cupboard, and reading table. The bathroom and toilet are shared by the inhabitants of the two rooms. Each block has a mess facility serving vegetarian and hygienic food. Some more hostels are under construction.

The college has three blocks of hostels two blocks for girls have been constructed in the campus accommodating 480 girls. The said blocks have been constructed in modern architectural splendor with state-of-the-art facilities like a reading room, TV room, separate safe cupboard, and reading table. The bathroom and toilet are shared by the inhabitants of the two rooms. Each block has a mess facility serving vegetarian and hygienic food. Some more hostels are under construction.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

The college has a Gym facility for the students.

The college Library has been catering to the needs of the undergraduates, postgraduates, faculty, and staff members of all the departments of the institution. The book collection continues to support the teaching, research, development, and other professional activities of these departments. The demands of the ever-growing research areas across multiple disciplines are being catered to with the help of the latest volumes, in almost all fields of Engineering, Science, Technology, and general areas. Salient features: A large number of booksThe library is well equipped with wide-ranging books from all the technical streams. The current number of books stands at about 31,000 and still counting. Large volumes of books helping the students crack the competitive examinations are also available. All these books have been well arranged, categorized, and demarked properly so that it is easily feasible to reach out to them.E-JournalsSeeing today's I-era, the institution has been providing an extensive range of e-journals scoring all fields counting up to 2000 in numbers. 

The college offers an extensive range of sports and fitness classes throughout the academic session. Qualified staff and trainers deliver programs for all ages, tastes, and abilities, from Cricket to Yoga to Weight Training and Aerobics. There are separate coaches for all the games who groom the students and train them rigorously to compete at the national level. 

The College has a well-equipped laboratory. Each laboratory contains a high-configuration computer machine. There are seven(7) laboratories at BS Patel Polytechnic and each laboratory has approximately 50-60 Computers. Mothe st of a computer having a configuration like C13 processor, 500GB HDD, 4GB RAM, LED monitors. All Computers are connected to a high-speed internet connection. All the Computer Laboratories are equipped with Air Conditioners. It has a Microsoft Academic Alliance license for Microsoft Products. We have a separate Linux Server that is configured to do practically for the Operating System.

The college canteen has a well-established Cafeteria located on the campus providing a wide range of foods to the students and staff including Gujarati Thali, Punjabi, South Indian, and Fast Food. The food offered by the Cafeteria is hygienic and it helps the students and staff members of the university to fulfill their need for food of their choice. 

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The College has provides transportation facilities from various locations.  More than 49 luxury buses are regularly available for the use of students and staff commuting from the nearby cities of Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Mehsana, Himmatnagar, Bijapur, Unjha, Siddhpur, Visnagar, Palanpur, Patan, etc... In addition, State Transport bus services are also available at regular intervals of time. 

The college has a good networking for the alumni association.

The laboratories of all the departments are well-equipped and provide state-of-the-art learning facilities.

The extension counter of the Mehsana District Urban Co-operative Bank and a branch of The State Bank of India have been set up on the campus for the purpose of providing all the required bank facilities to the students and the staff members.

The college has Beautiful guesthouses for guests and staff quarters for the faculty members have also been constructed on the campus. There are also English and Gujarati medium schools run by the trust.
