Cauvery Institute of Technology, Mandya was established in 2014 as a modern institution that has come up to provide several technical programmes. The CIT Mandya admission process is primarily based on two major entrance examinations: COMEDK UGET (Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka Under Graduate Entrance Test) and KCET-Karnataka Common Entrance Test. These entrance examinations are a must for students seeking admission to undergraduate engineering programmes CIT Mandya. The usual academic session for undergraduate students commences from August to September. COMEDK UGET typically takes place in May. This time the examination will be on 9th May 2025. The eligibility criteria for CIT Mandya admission to undergraduate programmes include a successful completion of 10+2 or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. But one will need cutoff ranks in COMEDK UGET or KCET to be admitted, and it can vary based on the course pursued and the seats available in that course. In the case of postgraduate programmes, such as MCA, the entrance norms might differ. For the students planning to pursue an MCA programme, direct contact with the concerned institute would be appropriate, to seek entry requirements further. • For application to UGET visit the website of COMEDK
• Complete the information about personal life and academics online on the application form
• Upload the documents according to the mentioned guidelines on the application portal
• Pay the fee for the application with online options
• Download application form and print confirmation page
• Prepare for COMEDK UGET  by giving mock tests and study materials given
• Report to COMEDK UGET on the day scheduled for exam, that is, May 9, 2025
• After declaration of result, get through COMEDK counselling rounds if you qualify according the cut off

 CIT Mandya KCET Application Process

• Refer the official Karnataka Examinations Authority website.
• Submit the KCET application form along with all the detailed information.
• Submit the attached documents.
• Pay fees through the prescribed payment avenues.
• Complete the submission of the application, then save the confirmation page.
• Prepare for KCET by using previous year's question papers and study material.
• Attend KCET on the dates as announced by KEA.
• If you get a seat according to the cut-offs after the declaration of results, then you will be eligible to attend the counselling process conducted by KCET.

CIT Mandya BE Admission Process

CIT Mandya has 6 BE programmes. It offers Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Information Science and Engineering. Admissions to these programmes are offered in accordance with the candidate's performance either through COMEDK UGET or KCET. Total Approved Intake for B.E. programmes is 360 seats as shown below.

• BE Civil Engineering: 30
• BE Computer Science and Engineering: 180
• BE Electronics and Communication Engineering: 60
• BE Mechanical Engineering: 30 seats
• BE Information Science and Engineering: 60 seats

For all B.E. programmes, candidates must have a qualifying rank in either CET or COMEDK entrance test. The CIT Mandya BE admission process is common for all the engineering streams.

CIT Mandya MCA Admission Process

CIT Mandya also offers a Master of Computer Applications with an approved intake of 60 seats. It usually caters to students who desire higher learning in computer science.
