CSIT Durg Admission Process
Chhatrapati Shivaji Institute of Technology offers 7 Undergraduate courses. The CSIT admissions include BE./B.Tech.The CSIT Durg admissions are offered in order to get students familiar with the understanding of technology and innovation. Before applying for CSIT admissions the candidate should appear for the relevant entrance examination such as JEE Main/CG PET or equivalent. The CSIT Durg admissions are based on the scores obtained in the entrance examination. The eligible candidates can apply for CSIT admission to the desired course.

CSIT UG Admissions 2024
The Chhatrapati Shivaji Institute of Technology offers undergraduate admissions. The duration of CSIT UG courses is 4 years.

CSIT B.Tech Admission Procedure
The candidate should appear for the JEE Main and CG PET examination and obtain a valid score.
Candidates who had qualified in the entrance exam and the past academic merit must attend counselling procedures.
The CSIT cutoff will be announced after the counselling procedure.
The CSIT Durg admissions will be based on the scores obtained in the entrance examination and the past merit obtained by the candidate.
The shortlisted candidates will be receiving the allotment letter.
Selected candidates should submit the required documents.
To complete the CSIT admission procedure the candidate must pay the course fees.

Academics
The faculty members are very supportive throughout. They are knowledgeable and have great teaching experience.
The curriculum is old but is changed during our tenure, which provided a broad aspect in terms of knowledge perspective.
Regular class tests and assignments help us prepare for end-semester examinations
College Infra
Well the infrastructure of my college was very awesome they provide us two library one is AC and other one is non AC both the library looks very nice and peaceful. Taking about the food of the mess, it was the worst. There is no medical facilities.

Placements
The college provides placement opportunities. My batch got good placements in reputed firms. The placement cell is very supportive. Many training courses were provided for us to excel in interviews. The highest package offered was 12 LPA, and the average package offered was 3 LPA. Roles offered were software engineer, BDA, analyst, and GET. Students were placed in companies like Wipro, TCS. HCL. Global Logic. BYJU's. Principal etc.

Academics
I have my BE in civil engineering and now working as a professional. Quality of teaching is very good as all the faculties are well qualified and knowledgeable. They support the students at every point and helps us to choose the right path.
College Infra
Infrastructure in CSIT college is very good and well maintained, Library, Bank, Gym, Post office, Laboratories, Canteen, Hostel premises are very good with facilities of WiFi, E-library, etc. Food provided in the mess and canteen is hygienic.
Campus Life
Campus of the college is very good with all facilities available. Cultural, Sports and other Activities are organized by the college. Location of the college is good as it is on the way to Balod and also it is about 5 kms away from durg railway station.
Placements
About 80% of the students were placed in the campus drive organized by the college. Highest package offered was 7 LPA for CS/IT branch . Average package offered to all branches students is 3.50 LPA. The placement process depends on the company criteria sometimes direct interview on the basis of percentage happens, sometimes students has to appear for Group Discussion, Written test and then interview.
Value For Money
The course of BE cost around 3.00 Lacs (including all other fees) for 4 years. Average cost per year is around 60,000/-

I am student of mechanical engineering and I have opted this institute since it was well known for its lab equipment facilities, placement, projects, student association, industrial partnership, guest lecture and we'll experienced teaching staff in mechanical department and others also. Institute has nptel local chapter. Award for academic topper. 3-D printers, war bots, SAE BAHA racing cars are developed and manufactured. Internal industrial training are arranged which makes students job ready.
College Infra
My institute is renowned for it's state of art infrastructure with eco friendly and lush green environment spread over 33 acres of land. Whole Campus is accessible with high speed internet facilities. Bank, stationary, post office, gym, canteen,playground,indoor gaming area etc separate boys and girls hostel with mess facilities, residential campus for faculty & staff is available. Campus has fully AC library of four floors with more than 72000 books, 400 national/international journals.
Campus Life
I have spended 4 yrs in this institute with full joy, institute has various students association which organise various activities/function and we can be part of this association. College has IIPC,REC,EDC,Rock band,RAW,I- click, nss club and cells. All staff are to supportive and ready to help at any need. Institute is situated 5 km from main city, police station and hospital at 1.2 km from campus and it is completely protected by security so campus is totally safe.
Placements
About 40 companies visited in this session with 60% students placed and the highest package offered was 12 lakh and on average 2.8 lakh. Reputed companies such as adani energy, Bosch, Parker haniffin, juspay,extramarks, byjus, conizant, Tech Mahindra, wipro, Accenture,neco, genpact and many more industrial have industrial relationship.Process of selection consists of pre placement talk , written test , GD/task and PI.
Value For Money
On an average 72000 per year will be fee and relaxing will be provided for students achieved more than 85% in 12th for 4 yrs of engineering, brother-sister concession and scholarship is provided to OBC/ST/SV/Minority as per state government norms. No extra money to be spent on books since it will be provided by institute.
