The college has a boy’s hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.

The library has more than 40,426 volumes (including those stocked in the Department Libraries) of books. The library also subscribes to about 11 Indian and foreign journals. It caters to the needs of students, faculty members, and research students. Being the oldest library, it has a rich collection of rare volumes. 11 departments of the college are provided with department-library facilities for research references and for preparation for lectures by teachers. Modernization of the library to provide services like INFLIBNET and NLIST programs is implemented. This has enabled the staff and students to access 3000 0n-line e-journals and 97,000 books.
