Coimbatore Institute of Technology (CIT), Coimbatore offers some of the best college facilities along with good infrastructure that is required for holistic learning. The 10 acres campus provides its students with all the basic required facilities from stationery to the gym. CIT facilities and infrastructure include ATMs, indoor and outdoor sports facilities, computer labs. Boys Hostel
The institute has a very nicely furnished and well-designed separate hostel facility for both girls and boys within the campus. The library also has a manuscripts rich collection of very rare books, special reports and knowledge resources in all disciplines. Students are offered institutional membership with ESS, ACI, USA and DELNET, New Delhi.
Sports
Sports playground in the campus for carrying extra-curricular activities. The playground is quite large in terms of size and can be utilized for a number of different sporting activities such as cricket, football and basketball among others.
I.T Infrastructure
The college has excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.
Cafeteria
The canteen facility at the Coimbatore Institute of Technology serves fresh food and delicacies to students which helps them socialize and maintain their health, similar to home-cooked food at reasonable prices.

College Infrastructure

The college is located in avinashi road which is one of the main areas in Coimbatore. Easily accessible to all the public transportations. The college infrastructure is well and good maintained. It has neat, spacious and ventilated classrooms for all the departments. The library here is large and has a lot of resources. Every departments have proper labs separately. The entire campus has WiFi installed including hostels and dining hall. The only drawback here is the boys hostels. They are pretty old buildings except for the final year hostel which was a newly constructed one. The hostel food could've been better and it's not upto that mark compared to other colleges in the city.

College Infrastructure

The college has a very decent infrastructure only but the laboratories have well equipped and modern instruments where the infrastructure is only a drawback. The hostel area will be good . Food and hygiene is an average one which they need to improve a lot

College Infrastructure

Our college infrastructure is pretty good, it has got sufficient classrooms well airated, library with all necessary books for reference. Sports ground was also well maintained and given importance. Hostel is okay with good food.

If you want to pursue any b.tech related courses TNEA cutoff 2023 ranges between 1764 - 22689. If you secure a rank that lie in that range you can get seat in CIT. They offer a wide range of courses in various domains.

cut off mark information technology for sc quota

Hi,

Coimbatore institute of technology (CIT) is a well-known private engineering college located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. It was established in the year 2008 by Vigneshwaran Educational Trust and offers various courses such as B.Tech, MCA, MBA etc.. The students are provided with best facilities like hostel facility, library and computer lab etc.. What is the admission procedure? The candidates who have passed class 12 or equivalent examination with minimum 60% marks in aggregate should apply for CIT Admission. They can also fill up their application form online through the official website.

For SC category, the cutoff use to be around 7000 for computer science course, however it depends on many factors like number of candidates appeared.

Go for cse in GCE Salem . It is good college with decent facilities . Decent infrastructure and supporting staff and faculty. About 70-75% of the students from cse course got placed . The highest salary package offered in course is 6.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.8 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Zoho and Accenture visit here this campus for placements. The average salary package offered ranges from 3.5-4 LPA..
