    Eligibility Criteria

    • A Candidate Passed in Higher Secondary Examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Examination Kerala or an examination recognized equivalent thereto with at least 50% marks in Mathematics and 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry / Equivalent subjects put together or equivalent grade.
    • A candidate who has a Diploma in Engineering awarded by the Board of Technical Examinations, or an examination recognized equivalent thereto, by the State Board of Technical Education after undergoing an institutional course of at least 3 years from an institution approved by AICTE, securing fifty percent marks in the final year Diploma Examination. (Lateral Entry).

    Admission Details

    • The Admission process is as per AICTE, APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, and Kerala Government rules. The following is the admission procedure for the academic year. 50% of the total students in B.Tech courses are set apart for centralized allotment by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. In the remaining 50% of the management seats, 15% of seats under the NRI quota are given to children and dependents of NRIs on the basis of marks obtained for physics, chemistry, and mathematics in the 12th standard. The remaining 35% of seats are given based on merit by ranking applicants based on marks obtained for P C M in the 12th standard and for the Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination.
    • Candidates shall be qualified in the entrance examination conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations of Govt. of Kerala (KEAM/JEE).
