The college has a departmental computer lab has a client-server computing facility. There are more than 80 systems connected through LAN. The lab is also equipped with an internet facility. It has the latest design and plotting software like STAAD, Auto CAD, STRAP, NISA Civil, SAP, etc. Apart from the computer labs provided in each department, the College of Engineering and Technology - Payyanur has a centralized computer center to cater to the most advanced needs of the students and the faculty. It has been facilitated with 50 nodes connected in LAN with an Xeon processor server. These are connected to a 2 Mbps leased line internet connection. Students can also make use of these systems, adequately supported by inkjet, laserjet, dot matrix printers, scanners, scanner cum copier, etc. The center opens throughout the year, and constantly updates itself by procuring the latest software, both in design and application areas like SQL, Visual Studio, MATLAB, and VHDL. With the 2 MBPS leased line internet connection, the center has significantly enhanced its capacity to provide speedy access to the internet for different computer labs.

The College has a well-equipped canteen with adequate facilities for the use of staff & students.

The training and placement cell is headed by a placement coordinator and a joint coordinator, both of whom are ably supported by four members, one from each engineering department in addition to students representing all engineering associations.
