The over all experience is fine, the academics are fine

    College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is fine, however there's a scope for improvement. Additionally, there are measures that are being taken towards the infrastructure. Extra rooms like GCR are created for leisure activities.

    Academics

The focus on academics is great, the teachers are supportive and are well focused towards doubt solving, the faculty is well considerate about the academics and are supporting. The classes begin from 8:30 AM in the morning.

    Placements

The placement committee is really supportive and they always try to bring good companies. The highest package offered was 23.05 Lpa at de shaw and co. Internships in companies like kpmg, also are offered.

    Value for Money

The fees is quite high as per other DU colleges. My course has a fee of 36k a year. If I compare with private institutions yes, it's value for money but comparing to other DU colleges, it's not.

    Campus Life

The campus life is fine, college is located in the heart of North campus with nearby access to markets like kamla nagar, Hudson lane serving as a spot for hangout, there are cafes, the college societies are also fine.

Friendly peers, kind teachers and beautiful campus life.

    College Infrastructure

The College building is quite open, cozy and beautiful distinguishing different sections with a big enough canteen. The front lawn is the best spot of students to spend their breaks. The washrooms are clean, with water availability.

    Academics

As I've experienced, the professors are qualified and most importantly very nice and genuine. The classes inculcate discussions, debates. The teachers are kind and helpful. Our lectures are full of meaningful discussion and tutes with fun activities.

    Placements

The placement cell of Daulat Ram College is quite active and is indicative. They not only organise placements but also various workshops, seminars and webinars to help students figure out their future and assist them.

Its a great college with decent facilities and good crowd

    College Infrastructure

Daulat Ram College, a women’s college in DU’s North Campus, offers a broad range of facilities including 52 classrooms (23 ICT-enabled) with projectors and smart boards, a fully air-conditioned library with over a lakh books and digital resources, laboratories for science, mathematics, psychology, and nutrition, a gym, an auditorium seating over 1,300 people, an open-air amphitheatre, a cafeteria with Nescafé and Amul kiosks, and an on-campus girls’ hostel with AC rooms, laundry, Wi-Fi, computer and medical rooms. The campus also features sports grounds, courts, banking/ATM facilities, and a bike-sharing system. Despite these amenities, student feedback highlights inconsistencies in maintenance. Many students mention that washrooms are poorly maintained and that air conditioning is available only in select classrooms or areas like the library. Some classrooms are outdated or overcrowded, with reports of classes being conducted in stairwells or open spaces due to lack of space. However, the college is undergoing renovation and construction to improve infrastructure. The hostel environment is well-regarded and has been noted for its cleanliness and ambience. While challenges remain in the upkeep of older facilities, efforts are underway to modernize and enhance the overall campus infrastructure, making DRC a blend of potential and progress.

    Academics

Daulat Ram College is well-regarded for its academic excellence and strong faculty across disciplines. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Arts, Commerce, and Science, including popular programs like B.A. (Hons) in English, Political Science, Psychology, Economics, and B.Com (Hons). The faculty is experienced, academically qualified, and often involved in research and scholarly activities. Many professors adopt student-centric teaching methods, including presentations, debates, seminars, and discussions, which enhance engagement and critical thinking. The college follows the University of Delhi's CBCS (Choice Based Credit System), allowing students some flexibility in choosing subjects. Internal assessments, assignments, and project work are an integral part of evaluation, ensuring continuous academic development. Students also get exposure through academic societies, departmental fests, guest lectures, and workshops that supplement classroom learning. However, some students have noted variability in teaching quality across departments and occasional scheduling issues due to classroom shortages. Despite that, the academic environment is competitive yet supportive, with peer learning being a strong aspect of college life. Overall, Daulat Ram College maintains a solid academic reputation within Delhi University, with many alumni pursuing successful careers in civil services, academia, research, corporate sectors, and higher education in India and abroad.

    Placements

The placement opportunities at Daulat Ram College are decent but vary significantly depending on the course. Students from programs like B.Com (Hons), Economics, and English tend to have better placement outcomes compared to those from science or general arts streams. The college has a dedicated placement cell, known as the VRIDDHI Placement Cell, which organizes campus recruitment drives, internships, webinars, and workshops to help students prepare for the job market. On average, around 25–30% of students get placed through the college's placement cell every year. Some of the top recruiters include companies in the consulting, finance, IT, and marketing sectors. Roles offered typically include financial analyst, content writer, digital marketer, business development associate, and social media manager. The highest salary package can go above ₹20 LPA for a few candidates, while the average salary generally ranges between ₹4–6 LPA. Internship opportunities are also available, and students are encouraged to gain work experience during their academic years. However, competition for top roles is high, and many students also apply for off-campus placements. Overall, the placement experience at DRC is good for motivated students but may require individual initiative to secure high-paying roles or niche job profiles.

    Value for Money

Daulat Ram College offers excellent value for money, especially for students looking for quality education at an affordable cost. As a constituent college of Delhi University, the annual tuition fees are significantly lower compared to private institutions, typically ranging between ₹10,000 to ₹20,000 per year depending on the course. Given the low fee structure, students receive access to experienced faculty, a wide range of academic programs, well-stocked libraries, and decent extracurricular opportunities. The return on investment is particularly strong for students in high-demand courses such as B.Com (Hons), Economics, English, and Psychology, where placements and higher education prospects are better. Even though not all students get placed through the campus, many successfully pursue post-graduate studies in reputed institutions or clear competitive exams like UPSC, CAT, and NET. Hostel facilities, though limited, are comparatively affordable and provide basic amenities, making it easier for outstation students. The exposure through societies, internships, and workshops further adds to the learning experience without putting a financial burden on families. Overall, DRC offers a high-quality academic environment at a minimal cost, making it a wise choice for students seeking education, exposure, and career growth without the heavy expense of private colleges.

    Campus Life

Campus life at Daulat Ram College is vibrant, engaging, and rich in opportunities for personal and social growth. Located in Delhi University’s North Campus, the college benefits from a lively academic and cultural environment. Students actively participate in various societies, including dramatics, dance, music, debating, fine arts, and photography. These societies regularly organize competitions, workshops, and fests—making the campus dynamic and energetic throughout the year. The annual fest, “Manjari,” is a highlight and attracts students from across DU. Events like fashion shows, musical nights, street plays, and open mics add color to student life. There are also academic seminars, talks, and departmental fests that combine learning with fun. The campus has essential facilities such as a well-equipped library, a large auditorium, an amphitheater, and a cafeteria serving affordable food. While the infrastructure has mixed reviews, the student community is often cited as warm, inclusive, and supportive. The hostel provides an additional sense of community for outstation students. Being part of North Campus allows students to explore shared resources, libraries, and events across other DU colleges, further enhancing the college experience. In short, DRC offers a balanced campus life with academics, creativity, and friendship at its core—ideal for holistic development.

    Great learning overall experience.

    College Infrastructure

Our college might be small, but it's got its own charm. While there are definitely some areas that need improvement, there are a few things that truly stand out. The professors are knowledgeable and genuinely invested in their students' growth. Activities like NCC are a great way to build discipline and character, and some of the student societies are really doing amazing work. It's not perfect, but it's got heart. If you're looking for a close-knit community where you can grow and learn, this college might be worth considering.

    Academics

Our college's academic setup is quite good, although we have a limited range of courses. One notable absence is Geography, which would be a great addition. However, the professors we do have are knowledgeable and supportive, making the most of the courses we offer. Overall, it's a good place to learn and grow, with room for expansion in course offerings.

    Placements

To be honest, I'm not entirely aware of the full scope of placement opportunities at our college, but from what I've seen, the college does provide some placement support. There are certain companies and organizations that visit the campus to recruit students, and the college makes an effort to facilitate these opportunities.

    Value for Money

While our college has its strengths, the infrastructure could use some improvement. There are limited classrooms, which can make scheduling and logistics a challenge. The sports area and equipment are also limited, which can restrict students' opportunities for physical activity and development. Additionally, there are some limitations in terms of facilities and resources. Despite these challenges, the college community makes the most of what's available, but there's definitely room for growth and improvement in this area.

    Campus Life

Our college campus is a haven for learning and growth. The lush greenery and well-maintained surroundings provide a perfect setting for students to nourish their minds and souls. There's always something new to discover, and the campus is full of opportunities to learn and explore. From the vibrant student life to the serene natural surroundings, our campus is a place where students can truly thrive.

    It was a rewarding experience.

    College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is good, and college has most of the necessary facilities and equipments. The Library is a peaceful space with a good collection of books and enough seating. The canteen serves okay food but could improve in variety. Washrooms are available on every floor, though cleanliness can be an issue sometimes. There are also limited common areas to sit and relax, especially during breaks.

    Academics

Academics at Daulat Ram College are well structured and taken seriously . There is a good balance between lectures, assignments and internal assessments. The English Department has excellent and supportive teachers .

    Placements

Placements are decent but mostly limited to a few courses. Some companies visit through the central DU placement cell. Courses like English ( Hons.) , there are very limited direct placement options. Internship opportunities are available ,but students have to search on their own most of the time .

    Value for Money

The cost of the course is quite more than the other colleges.

    Campus Life

Campus life is good for most of the days, but during events - especially the fest - it become joyful and exciting. There aren't many green spots to hang out casually. Students who join societies enjoy college more. Overall it's a safe and decent environment.

My college experience is not so good not so bad

    College Infrastructure

Our college infrastructure is good like we have library with ac and we have laboratories and we have class rooms with ac and smart bord but still we have no wifi in our college except liberary so yeah that's the only problem

    Academics

Our college academics is very good like professors are very helpful I am from political science department and my all the professor are very good but they only teach us bookish knowledge which is not enough for our future

    Placements

Honestly I am from BA program political science department and I am never even heard about the placements in our college for BA program no one tells about placement and also I have no idea about this.

    Value for Money

I am from BA program political science department and my fees is 30000 per year and according to me this is very much for BA program course so yeah according to me 30000 is not worth it for BA program in which we are not using any laboratories and all

    Campus Life

Our college campus is small and this is the biggest problem of our college like we have only front garden and then sports comple but good thing is that is very asthetic and beautiful college maintain that properly

    Academics

Department of political science, english is better than from commerce and science.. Teachers are helpful.. Some teachers are very good in their subjects but some are okayish.. I would say academics is also decent only.

    College Infrastructure

The college experience is over all good but the canteen is very conjusted as well as the prices are quite high as compared to other colleges. Moreover, there is a beautiful lawn and big sports complex to chill with your friends.

    Academics

Academics really differ from department to department, i feel economics department is good , phycology is also good not sure about the medical courses such as botany and zoology.. hindi department is also good

    Placements

Placements are also good in bcom and economics courses , other courses have less opportunity, which i think can be improved. Also there are not much internship opportunities in the college, you can apply it from your own end.

It is a wonderful place to learn and make new friends

    College Infrastructure

It’s good, but there should be some basic facilities like wifi, air conditioners and clean water - then it will become much better. I like the infra otherwise and there is construction going on, it will be better

    Academics

I feel academic is good and there is a very good and frank teaching style of faculty, also there is a great collection of study material in library. I like the way teachers explain the concept with so much acceptance and patience

    Placements

It was an amazing experience, sharing my views .

    College Infrastructure

Our college doesn't have basic things like Drinking water, hygienic toilets, even our classrooms don't have good quality of fan moreover the fee costs and arm and a leg it's highest in the whole North Campus, Auditorium is not less than a trash. There's nothing for sports, it's just a ground and that's it.

    Academics

Teachers are good and the curriculum is more like mugging up then learning as usual, it's same for every college. I'm pursuing b.com (hons) . There's is nothing that makes you job ready, it's just upto you.

    Placements

Our Placement is good like the placement percentage is more than 60% and the highest package is 23LPA till 2024. I haven't appeared for the placement yet as war as the process is concerned it's upto the company.

    Value for Money

It's not at all Value for Money. You should opt for good colleges of South Campus like ARSD, SBSC , Venki etc.

    Campus Life

    It's just Average.

    Others

I don't want to say anything about this college.
