Devraj Group's Technical Campus, Firozpur Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The library is the backbone of any academic institution. The library at DTC has a very rich collection of relevant books and journals. The total collection of the library is more than 15,000. The library services at DTC are provided to students, staff & faculty members for updating their knowledge and supporting the research and teaching/learning activities. Keeping in view the fast changes in technology, the knowledge base of the library is updated regularly by way of adding new literature in the form of text books, reference books, reports, proceedings, abstracts & indexes, encyclopedias, data books, standards (National & International) Journals & database on CD-ROM. Apart from adding the new literature, the basic literature is also procured for the new programmes along with the current one. The facilities like Photocopy, Scanning etc. are provided to the students on payment basis within the premises of the library.

The college has all kind of Engineering Labs equipped with state of the art infrastructure covering the Latest Machinery and apparatus. We have a work shed measuring 10,000 sq feet to give real-life exposure to the students. We have also with us in our factory CNC machines and another sophisticated machine.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.

The institute has a dispensary on campus to meet the first-aid and routine medical needs of the students & staff. Institute has tied up with leading medical facilitators to provide consultation to the members of faculty/staff and students on weekly basis. In case of emergency, patients are taken to reputed medical centers. Health Care The primary aim of the Career Guidance and Admission Cell is to reach out to every intermediate student through career guidance workshops and seminars. They have been instrumental in informing students about the AIEEE counseling, the choice filling by candidates, the choice of the correct stream in the BTech program and the bank loan scheme introduced by the Government. They also inform students about the various schemes launched by the govt. for the economically weaker section and the scheduled caste so that education does not remain out of the reach of such students.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

Keeping in mind the importance of sports and its vitality in the shaping of individual personality, health, and fitness, the institute lays considerable emphasis on student’s participation in various games, track & field activities. The spacious grounds of the Institute are laid out into playfields for Cricket, Hockey, Football, Handball, Volleyball, Lawn Tennis, etc. Facilities have also been provided for Yoga, Weightlifting, Wrestling, Kabaddi & indoor games like badminton, table tennis, chess, etc.

The college has a guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

College is providing Free College Buses to pick and drop students from nearby Villages and towns surrounding Appx. 60 km covering mainly Zira, Makhu, Mallanwala, Jalalabad, Guru Har Sahai, Mamdot, Ferozepur City and Cantt, Faridkot, Talwandi, etc.
