DRIEMS admission procedure is comprehensive in its design to take in talented and deserving candidates into the MBA programme.  DRIEMS admission cycle generally coincides with any given academic year, commencing with the month of August-September. The entrance tests accepted for MBA admissions can either be at the national level or the state level. This includes Common Admission Test (CAT), Management Aptitude Test (MAT), Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT), Common Management Admission Test (CMAT), AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA), and Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE).

The application process of DRIEMS MBA consists of the following steps:

• Candidates should apply for one of the accepted entrance exams (CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, or OJEE) and obtain a valid score.
• After obtaining a valid score in the entrance examination, candidates have to apply to DRIEMS MBA.
• For OJEE: Tentatively, the application will be available from January 30 to March 20. Candidates will have to apply online for filling the OJEE application.
• For other examinations: The DRIEMS MBA website should be consulted, or the admissions office should be contacted for specific procedures.
• Group Discussion
• Personal Interview
• Written Ability Test (if applicable)
• A merit list will be drawn based on the entrance exam score and other selections made (if any).
• The candidates selected will have to confirm admission by paying the fees and submitting original documents by a given date.

The eligibility criteria to qualify for admission into the MBA course at DRIEMS include a degree in any discipline from a recognised university. The timelines for each year's admission vary with the entrance tests selected by candidates, e.g., OJEE. Admit Card for the February session of the ATMA exam is to be available from February 19 to February 23, 2025. The MAT exam application closure date for the February session (Paper-Based Test) is March 2, 2025. Hence, it is advisable for the candidates to check the specific dates for their chosen entrance exam and plan their study schedule.

An MBA is the principal post-graduation course offered at DRIEMS MBA, which is full-time and spans two years. The process of admission into the programme shall include:

• A candidate needs to be qualified with a score in any of the approved entrance exams: CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, or OJEE.
• Then, the applicants may apply to DRIEMS MBA on securing qualifying marks in any of the above exams.
• After entrance examination results are declared, admission is based on the entrance examination scores and the further admission process taken by its directives.
• The MBA programme offered by DRIEMS has been oriented to preparing an individual to face the competitive and challenging business environment by developing managerial and leadership skills.

Documents that will be needed from the applicants are:

• Bachelor's degree certificate and mark sheets
• 10th and 12th standard certificates
• Other credentials, if applicable (as dictated by the institute)
