Dibrugarh University Institute of Engineering and Technology (DUIET), is a constituent college of Dibrugarh University in Assam. The institute provides various engineering courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. For B.Tech programmes:

- Go to the official DUIET or Dibrugarh University website to download the application form.
- Complete the application form, giving correct information including the entrance examination marks.
- Candidates applying on CEE and JEE categories can avail one application but have to give genuine marks for both exams in the respective columns.
- Send the filled-in application form along with documents and application fees, if any.
- Wait for the merit list or counseling schedule to be announced.
- In case shortlisted, go through the process of counseling for seat allocation.

These are the B.Tech and M.Tech courses:
Dibrugarh University Institute of Engineering and Technology B.Tech Admission Process
DUIET provides five B.Tech courses with a total intake of 260 seats. Admission is on the basis of either JEE Main or Assam CEE marks.
Seat allocation is as follows:
- B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering: 60
- B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering: 60
- B.Tech Mechanical Engineering: 60
- B.Tech Petroleum Engineering: 50
- B.Tech Civil Engineering: 30
The candidates should have 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. The admission process consists of qualifying either the JEE Main or Assam CEE and then the counseling process.
Dibrugarh University Institute of Engineering and Technology M.Tech Admission Process
There are four M.Tech courses provided by DUIET:
- M.Tech Thermal and Fluid Engineering
- M.Tech Petroleum Engineering
- M.Tech Information Technology and Sensor System
- M.Tech Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning

Teaching is Average. Faculties are also very good. But we feel like something missing.
College Infra
No maintenance, no facility, etc. College doesn't have all necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. Living spaces are not clean. Very poor infrastructure. We can't deciding our future here.
Campus Life
I like its peaceful environment.
Placements
Don't know.
Value For Money
Per semester cost 50000 INR. It is not value for money at all. I don't feel that I am getting my money's worth. No infrastructure development, no facility, poor placement, can't deciding future type feeling, etc.

Studying mechanical engineering teaching department of mechanical engineering is good. I am studying here because no other college i got. So stuck here eating 4 years of my life and subjects are hard.
College Infra
Developing university nothing new here but many new infrastructures are being constructed. I have nothing more to say this is all i know why do I have to write more. Don't know bad college don't come here.

Very less placements but now new companies are coming nrl, oil india etc. don't know anything else bad college very placements like every other college. Nothing good no placements and nothing more to say

Academics
I studied Mechanical Engineering and the mechanical engineering department is a wonderful department with a very friendly faculty. The faculty members are always ready to help the students. Seminars and activities related to the recent technological developments are held regularly.
College Infra
Dibrugarh University Institue of Engineering And Technology (DUIET) , Dibrugarh University has a very good campus. The infrastucture is also pretty good with all the laboratories well equipped. It also has a dedicated library full of engineering study materials apart from the central library of the university.
Campus Life
The campus life is awesome. Lots of activities are held every year and everyone gets a chance to show their talents. A techno-cultural cum management festival known as Auxesis is also held every year which is organised by the engineering students.
Placements
The placements are not that good. Only a few (just one or two students) are placed with high paying packages from the one or two PSUs that visit the campus 'almost' regularly. But if you have the right skills and knowledge then you should not worry about the campus placements because in the end, you will get what you deserve. Just don't stop trying and continue acquiring knowledge because knowledge helps you to stand up when you are about to fall.
Value For Money
The ROI is a debatable thing. But in terms of academics and opportunities you will not be disappointed. The placement scenario can surely improve and I hope that it gets better with time.
