DIMR Pune Admission 2026: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Cutoff & Application Form

Dnyansagar Institute of Management and Research or DIMR, is a very popular name from Pune among the students taking management education. The admission procedure is very selective as the best candidates among the budding managers are to be selected for the programs. Thus, entrance exam C-MAT holds for DIMR Pune. Apart from that, the institute takes into consideration other scores relatively at national and state levels-BMH-MBA CET, MAT, etc. Of each of these examinations, the dates are different in the year; CMAT applications are made early November/December, MAH MBA CETs around March. For the flagship program in an MBA, a graduate degree must be obtained from a recognized university. The most promising students will be selected as per the admission they perform in the entrance exam followed by several checkup rounds.

Application Process

1. Entrance Exam:

Register and take one of the accepted entrance exams (CMAT, MAH MBA CET, or MAT)

CMAT applications will be available from mid-November to late December.

MAH MBA CET is usually conducted in March.

MAT is held multiple times a year.

2. Application Submission: Visit the official DIMR website for more specifics on their admission/application process. Sign in Fill out their online application form with precise personal and academic information. Upload necessary documents, the list of which may include the following:

• Passport size photograph 
• 10th and 12th mark sheets 
• Bachelor's degree certificate and mark sheets 
• Entrance exam scorecard 
• Any other certificates as applicable to the institute

3. Application Fee: Pay the requisite amount of application fee as specified on the website.

4. Admission Process: For CAP rounds (MBA): Participation in the centralized admission process administered by DTE, Maharashtra is mandatory for the eligible ones. For admissions at Institute Level: Wait for the institute to announce shortlisted candidates based on entrance exam scores. 

5. Further Evaluation: Additional rounds such as group discussion, personal interview, or written ability tests thereafter, may come for shortlisted candidates.

6. Final Selection: The last stage of selection is determined by evaluating the overall performance of the candidate in the entrance examination and evaluation rounds thereafter.

7. Admission Confirmation: Successful candidates will be informed and will be required to complete admission formalities within the time stipulated including document verification and fee payment.

Degree Wise Admission Process

MBA: A Master of Business Administration degree from DIMR can be earned in a full-time program for two years and the intake is at 180 students. This course of the MBA runs in different methods of admission procedure-CAP rounds- Candidate has to appear for MAH-CET conducted by State Common Entrance Test Cell and Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Maharashtra; Institute Level-can apply through the valid score of MAH-CET, CMAT, or MAT CET whichever applicable in that year.  Selection is based on entrance exam score and other tests followed by the management if considered suitable.

MCA: DIMR features a three-year program leading to an MCA qualification and has an intake of 120 seats. The admission procedure for MCA is not mentioned here. However, it could be assumed to be any entrance exam prescribed with MCA degree level papers.
