DY Patil College of Engineering and Polytechnic, Talsande Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has two fully furnished and spacious boys’ hostels on its campus. The basic purpose behind establishing the Boys’ Hostels is to accommodate the needs of students admitted to various courses offered by the different colleges at the Talsande campus. 

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

The college library is the heart of any educational institute. The central library is established with a stack room and issue section as well as a reading room with sufficient area as per the AICTE norms. The institute has sufficient numbers of titles and volumes of textbooks and reference books in addition to magazines and national and international journals. It is also strengthened with e-books, e-journals, and digital libraries.

The college has sports facilities for all students.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.

The college has a computer center facility for the students. Provide a dedicated Bus facility to pick up and drop off our Talsande campus students and teaching and nonteaching staff with notified bus timing and different bus routes. We have our 11-bus fleet designed as per government norms and manned by skilled/experienced drivers. Buses are also used for students' industrial visits, campus placement drives, study tours, NSS camps, etc.

The college has good networking for the alumni association.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.

The college has provided a in Hostel. The total intake capacity of the lady's hostel is 250 students. All rooms in the hostels are self-contained. Each room has beds, cupboards, tables, chairs, tube lights, a ceiling fan, a mobile charger point, and a dustbin. A common washroom facility is provided to each wing and cleaned daily by a housekeeping Person.

The college also provides good classroom facilities for all the students.

The Motive of the placement cell is to act as a facilitator to arrange campus visits and coordinate the recruitment process of the prospective employers of graduating students of the college.
