The selection process includes 3 stage method. They are:
The basic eligibility criteria remains 50% aggregate for General Category in Graduation and 45% for Reserved Categories or equivalent CGPA from any recognised University. The percentiles in CAT are considered for the further rounds. In 2018, the weightage given for various sections of CAT have been as follows:
QA: 30%
DILR: 30%
VARC: 40%
An additional 3 marks are added to the Composite score in case of women for shortlisting. This score is used only for shortlisting Candidates for Personal Interview. The weightage for Final selection is as follows:
Personal Interview: 15%
CAT score: 60%
Group Discussion: 10%
Extempore: 5%
10th marks: 5%
12th marks: 5%
An additional 3 marks of the maximum aggregate will be added to the women candidates who have attended the Interview. Now regarding the CW seats, it also depends on your CAT percentile. Though the CW level matters, it is your Academic profile and also CAT percentile that play a role. To be considered for FMS, you will need nothing less than 97 percentile. university infrastructure is excellent and has high-tech classrooms with air conditioners. wi-fi connection is superfast. digital library is available in campus with many useful lectures. canteen is very big and having variety of food items.
The campus is a part of the Delhi University North campus infrastructure and has high-tech classrooms. The campus is equipped with super-fast central Wi-Fi. FMS has its own library within the campus and students can also access the DU library which has a great repository.
FMS Delhi has facilities like wifi, seminar hall, Video Conference halls, etc. however the institution lacks sports infra and the campus is very small, unlike other reputed B schools where the campus is spread across acres of land. Having said that, the campus has every facility that academics and the infra to facilitate the placement process. Since FMS is part of DU, certain DU resources can be used by FMS students.
