Academics
teachers explain subjects like electronics, communication systems, microprocessors, and digital circuits in a clear way. Students learn both theory and practical skills through classes and labs. However Some subjects can be hard and take extra time to understand, so students may need to study more outside class
College Infra
the campus is modern, clean, and well-maintained with big classrooms, Wi-Fi, and library space for study. There are labs for ECE like Communication Systems, VLSI, and Embedded Systems.The campus has many other facilities like sports areas, auditoriums, and hostels. But A few pieces of lab equipment are not very new or advanced, so they could be updated more.
Campus Life
the campus is big, clean, and lively. There are events, technical fests, cultural programs, and club activities .Also, because the campus is large, students may have to walk a lot between classes, labs, and hostels.Overall, campus life is good and fun, especially if students join clubs, events, and activities,
Placements
many students do get placed with decent job offers in IT, software, and tech companies. Some students have even received very high packages in special cases during placements. Top companies like Amazon, TCS, Accenture, Wipro and others visit the campus to recruit students.many offers go to students who have stronger coding and interview skills
Value For Money
the college has modern facilities, labs, classrooms. If students study regularly, build skills, and prepare for placements, the fees feel worth it because they learn useful things that help in jobs or higher studies.

B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2028-01-01
Academics
Classes are held regularly, and the syllabus is usually finished on time. Teachers know their subjects and help students when doubts are asked. Labs are there for practice, which helps in understanding electronics and communication subjects better.some subjects are difficult and need a lot of self-study.
College Infra
Classrooms are clean and comfortable, and ECE labs are available for practice. The campus is modern, and the library is useful for studying.
But some labs get crowded, and a few machines are old. Sometimes students don’t get enough lab time.
Overall, the infrastructure is good, but lab facilities can improve.
Campus Life
Some ECE students feel that they need to manage their own fun outside regular college hours nevertheless college offers events like cultural fests, technical fests, workshops, coding competitions, hackathons, sports meets, and club activities, which make college life interesting.
Placements
Some good companies visit the campus and hire especially if they have technical skills and good communication. Students also get support from the placement cell with interview preparation and resume building. But not all ECE students get placed through campus drives, and many offers are with average salary packages. Core electronics companies are fewer, so students often look for IT and software jobs or apply off-campus.
Value For Money
You get good classrooms, labs, and teachers, which helps in learning. But placements are average, and salaries are not very high. Some lab equipment could be better.
Overall, it’s worth it if you focus on learning and building skills on your own .For ECE, the yearly fees start at around ₹2 – 2.5 lakh per year and increase slightly each year

Academics
The academics in the ECE department are good and well organized. Teachers explain topics in a simple and clear way. The syllabus covers both theory and practical subjects. Regular tests and assignments help students understand better. Overall, academics support good learning and skill development.
College Infra
Infrastructure is good and well maintained. The classrooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, with projectors and smart boards. The laboratories are well equipped with modern instruments and systems. There are separate labs for electronics, digital systems, communication, microprocessors, and VLSI. Students get proper guidance from lab staff, and all required equipment is available for practical work.
Campus Life
Campus life at GITAM is friendly, active, and enjoyable. There are good opportunities to make friends, take part in events, and enjoy college life while studying. Cultural festivals and competitions
Technical fests and workshops, Sports events
Clubs and student groups. These activities make college life fun and engaging.
Placements
Placements are decent for ECE students. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment. Students get opportunities in IT and core electronics fields. The placement cell provides training in aptitude, communication, and interviews.
Value For Money
The ECE program is good in academics and facilities, but the fees are quite high. Placements are decent but not excellent for ECE (average 4 LPA).
