GEC Patan Admission Process
Government Engineering College Patan, takes admissions to undergraduate programmes in the field of engineering and architecture. Candidates need to meet the GEC Patan eligibility criteria in order to be eligible for GEC Patan admissions. For GEC Patan admission to B.E, candidates have to appear for the GUJCET entrance exam.
GUJCET is conducted by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB). Later, the GUJCET counselling will be conducted by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC). Final admission is confirmed after choice filling, choice locking, seat allotment, document verification, and fee payment. GEC Patan Admissions 2025 for B.E./B.Tech
Government Engineering College Patan offers five undergraduate courses under different specialisations. The table below shows the undergraduate courses, seat intake, and eligibility criteria.

GEC Patan B.E Admission Procedure 2025
Candidates have to meet the required eligibility criteria for GEC Patan B.E admission.
Eligible candidates have to register for the entrance exam GUJCET, by entering the required details and paying the application fee.
Then, candidates need to fill out the application form and upload the scanned photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
Candidates have to appear for the entrance exam- Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET), which is conducted by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB).
The GEC Patan cutoff list is released.
Candidates need to register for GUJCET counselling conducted by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC).
During the registration process for the counselling, the candidates have to mention their preference for GEC Patan.
Further, the counselling process confirms choice locking and seat allotment.
Final admission is offered on the basis of entrance exam score, choice filling, choice locking, seat allotment, document verification and admission fee payment.

This is good in this college. Professor are also kind, polite and helpful. There are many guest faculty so they put their full efforts to make student a genius. The faculty takes lecture and labs time to time
College Infra
Bad infrastructure as compare to other colleges. This not well managed by the management. The boys hostel is not well managed by warden. For the girls there is no mess available they have to order food from the outside mess

There is no placement from this college but the some faculty try to give you good placement and help us. They send students to their university for presenting us to the placement companies and also give intership

Academics
In our department computer science and engineering study quality is very good, all faculties provide us theory as well as practical knowledge for particular also some time they conduct expert lectures for our industry level knowledge. They provide us subject knowledge as well as industry knowledge which is use full for job purpose.
College Infra
Our college provide very good facilities with high speed internet for the lab work and good projector for the better learning. Our campus sports ground very good and sport activity also very important in our college. Hostels facilities are also very good, I feel cleanliness and good food.
Campus Life
Campus life is very enjoyable and very helpful for our career, because here we enjoy every festival and other activity which is improve our external and internal skill. NSS and FYYC team work well together and most of the time our college students represent our college in state as well national level in different activity. This all thing possible by support of faculties and students.
Placements
Placement opportunities very good most of campiness from the Ahmedabad. Software developer and web developer position very high recommended as well some campiness for the non-technical field like BDA, Project manager. Average salary is 3.5 LPA to 4.5 LPA , and maximum 6 LPA from the on campus placement.
Value For Money
There are only fees for the exam form which is near about 850 and semester fees are near about 1000. Fees is very low for the girls.
