Since your child secured 24th rank , the chances of getting a seat in MEC are extremely strong.
Seat allotment mainly depends on:
- rank,
- category/reservation, and
- seat availability during counselling.
With such a high rank, admission in preferred branches is very likely during the initial counselling rounds
