Government Polytechnic, Gauchar offers admission to diploma courses in full-time mode. Government Polytechnic, Gauchar admission are offered for Diploma in Information Technology, Diploma in Environmental and Pollution Control and Diploma in Consumer Electronics and  D.Pharma courses. Government Polytechnic, Gauchar diploma courses in the stream of Engineering and Architecture are offered for the duration of 3 years. Government Polytechnic, Gauchar diploma course in Pharmacy is offered for a period of 2 years. Government Polytechnic, Gauchar admission to the diploma courses is based on the performance of the candidate in the Uttarakhand JEEP examination. The college also follows the seat reservation system prescribed by the government.

• Candidates seeking admission to the Government Polytechnic, Gauchar Diploma courses are required to meet the eligibility criteria of the course.

• The eligible candidates are required the fill out the JEEP application form.

• Candidates can buy the JEEP form available at the JEEP centre in January and February. 

• Candidates must fill out the application form with complete details and submit it to the  Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education or any Government Polytechnic college located in Uttarakhand.

Government Polytechnic, Gauchar Diploma Admission Process:

• The candidates seeking admission to the courses need to fulfil the eligibility criteria.

• The eligible candidates can buy the JEEP application form from the distribution centre.

• The application form has to be duly filled by the candidate and submitted to the Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education or any Government Polytechnic college in Uttarakhand.

• The candidates will receive the entry card for the JEEP entrance exam at their address or they can download it from the official website of JEEP.

• The admission to the diploma courses is done on the basis of the Uttarakhand JEEP exam conducted by the Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education in the month of May.

• The results for the JEEP examination are available on the official website of Uttarakhand JEEP. 

• The candidates are required to register for the counselling process based on their rank in the JEEP examination.     

• The candidate should attend the counselling process as per the counselling date and select the branch and college of their choice.

• The selected candidates should report to the college, the final admission is done after verification of documents and payment of fees.

Note: The institute provides lateral entry to the diploma courses offered in the stream of Engineering and Architecture for the candidates who have completed 10+2 or equivalent.
