Government Women's Polytechnic, Ranchi Admission Process
GWP Ranchi Admission 2024: GWP Ranchi courses include a Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electrical Engineering (EE), and Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE).
GWP admission to all UG Diploma programs will be done based on the DLCECE Examination conducted by the JCECE Board every year normally in the month of May. Candidates who cleared the DLCECE will be eligible for GWP Ranchi Diploma admission.

GWP Ranchi Application Procedure
Candidates will be selected by following the below process for GWP courses. GWP application is available in offline mode. Visit the Government Women's Polytechnic College office and collect the application.
Fill out the GWP Diploma Application Form and send it by post along with DD along with the required documents. Also, students can submit the GWP Ranchi application form directly at the college office premises.
GWP Diploma Admissions 2024
Govt Women's Poly Ranchi admission for the undergraduate diploma programme is based on the marks obtained in the DLCECE and past academics. Eligible students can apply for GWP admission in their desired course.

The following documents are required at the time of Admission to the Institution:

A photo of size 4x6
5 copies of colour passport size
DLCECE rank card (original)
Admit Card of DLCECE (original)
Age proof Certificate (Birth Certificate/Madhyamik/Class 10 Admit Card)
Matriculation pass certificate and mark sheet/Grade card
Medical fitness certificate obtained from the medical centre authorized by the institute
ST/SC/OBC/PH Certificate(if applicable)
Seat allotment certificate from (original)
Income certificate
Migration Certificate(original) in case of candidate having passed from a board other than JAC
Character certificate in original from the head of the institution last attended

Academics
I was electrical engineering student. The quality of teaching is average not up to the mark. Lots of PTLs is there whose teaching quality is just fabulous. I don't think curriculum is so updated . Branch paper must be study very well for job interview.
College Infra
Infrastructure of this college is good, but lack of laboratory facilities. There is two hostels which is quite good. Classroom has smart board. College has Wi-Fi facility , well-maintained libraries . College living spaces are clean and hygienic.
Campus Life
Life in this campus were best. Seniors of this college were very friendly and helping in nature. Batchmates were also very friendly. Students engaged in many things like indoor games, studies etc. Teachers, Staffs, Students were very supportive. It can handle emergencies.
Placements
Quality of placement is awesome. Most of the students got placed in 2019 batch. 90% students were placed at my time. Average package is 1.2 LPA and highest package is 2 LPA. Many companies are come here for placement like CEAT TYRE , Wipro, Anand group of companies etc.
Value For Money
As this is government college, so there is only admission fee, examination fee and hostel fee is taken that is very less. This college worth my money. Hostel payable fee is approx. 2000 per year which is very less. Only mess fee payable here every month.

In my college Government Women's College Ranchi I was studying electronics and Communications branch.I choose electronics and Communications engineering branch because I was interested in it and the quality of teaching is pretty good.

In my college Government Women's Polytechnic Ranchi the infrastructure related facilities are pretty good. The college campus is big and clean and hygienic. Yes college also have wifi facilities and wifi boards.

In my college Government women's polytechnic Ranchi the quality of placement in my electronics and Communications branch the quality of placement was pretty good and my eighty percentage of batch mates were placed.

I am pushing diploma in electronics engineering because of my personal interest as well as growing myself in this field.The quality of teaching is good enough but it need to be improved.The curriculum need to be more updated as the facilities provided by the college is not enough for the college students.
College Infra
College infrastructure is good and well developed.It have all the nesscaary equipment and well maintained.My college has all the facilities of laboratories, library and all the nesscaary things,the Wifi facility is quite well but the college hostel need to be repaired.
Campus Life
The campus life is quite fun and full of learning no one can faced problem regarding any equipment.. It's is located in Ranchi.Yes it is safe.
Placements
The placement in my Branch is too good.Almost all the students get placement in top of the company.80-90 percentage of get placed in good company with average salary 5-6lakh per annum.The placement process is very easy and the college teacher support us during the all placement process.
Value For Money
Since it is a government college fee is only rupee 5year,it is because fees is being waved of government and that is the plus pont of this college because students who cannot afford can also study here.yes the money spend during the diploma period was worth every penny as the placement process and the notes provided by the teachers was enough for a student's to grow in their field.
