The Campus concern for the well-being of students is amply reflected in its arrangement for holistic campus life. The institution has two hostels for girls on campus. Designed aesthetically, all hostels have been built to ensure a comfortable stay with air & light aplenty. The pastoral surroundings give the campus, especially the hostel, an ideal ambience to lead a life of health & to help the students concentrate on their studies. To give the borders a homely feeling and a breathing space only a specified number of students are accommodated in each room. All these help the students to spend their hostel life in harmony with themselves and those around them. It also provides a separate bed for each student, two ceiling fans, four tables and chairs in each room. The College hostel is not only safe and comfortable but also cheap given the spiralling trend in house rent in and around Ranchi. The foodstuff served at the hostel has been to be of a very high standard. Special food items are served on special occasions and a grand feast is arranged at the end of every month. Meticulous care is taken towards sanitary requirements and cleanliness of the hostels and their surroundings. Hygiene is of paramount importance here and is maintained in right earnest.

The College has its own library is an invaluable resource for students and faculties of diploma engineering. The college library occupies a position of pride and importance at GWP. The library has over the year built a robust collection of over 1,89,270 books, 30,000 bound volumes. The GWP library is an authentic knowledge of repository knowledge with over 3000 titles, 31022 copies, 10 National journals/periodicals, and also contains a number of magazines of repute. Every year new books are added to the library as per need. The library has set contacts with libraries for getting articles, copies of books that are not available in the library.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.
