Student Reviews

You need to work hard to get something

It is a good college overall.Keeping in that that the college is located in the city, infrastructure is decently good.Like most colleges, even here not all faculty memebers are great but some of them are exceptionally good.We have clubs for recreational activities and other extra curricular activities but when it comes to tech clubs not all tech clubs are active. Basically here things won't be served on a platter, if you want to do something you have to toil hard and get the work done. You will have to take the initiative and be dedicated.Usually in IITs and NITs the college environment is such that you develop yourself but here you will have to slog yourself and do the work.

When it comes to leading private engineering. colleges in Kolkata, then Heritage would definitely fall in that category. Heritage possesses sound technical and entrepreneurial wisdom, students are equipped with the strength & knowledge to bear the process of global challenges. HIT was set up by a group of Kolkata based eminent Industrialists renowned public figures. Now, if any individual is looking for only good quality placements then Heritage might not be the ideal place for him/her but in case of education and culture, its definitely a good place. As far as faculties are considered it is well above par, students would find them convenient for all sorts of doubts and queries. Library facilities, publication of journals have helped and is helping all students to thrive in case of knowledge. In case of sports and infrastructure facilities its one of the best. Hostel accommodations are also very good for students. Heritage provides their students with enough knowledge, creative and innovative thinking to develop entrepreneurial and professional skills and to instill leadership qualities for serving the society.I am a 4th year student in this college and in these 4 years heritage has given me many things to be remembered,to be cherished and I am glad to have been a part of this college.
