    Academics

The academics are decent, but students need to do self-learning and skill development (like coding, internships, etc.) to become fully industry-ready. The academics are decent for Chemical Engineering, but improving practical exposure and industry-oriented learning would make it much better.

    College Infra

The campus is well-developed and includes modern classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, and a central computer centre with hundreds of systems and internet access, which supports practical learning and project work. the college has good infrastructure and provides most of the necessary facilities, creating a comfortable and supportive environment for learning and student life.

    Campus Life

The campus is green and well-maintained with good infrastructure and labs. Best features include library and sports; worst is limited large fests. Students join clubs, sports, events. Students are friendly and cooperative, teachers are mostly helpful, and staff is supportive. The location is good, safe, and well-connected, making commuting easy.

    Placements

Around 80% students are placed, with highest package up to ₹1.13 crore, mainly in CSE/IT. Average salary was around ₹4.5–5 LPA. The placement process was smooth, and the college was supportive with training and guidance.

    Value For Money

The course fee is around ₹1.4–1.5 lakh per year for B.Tech at Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata Yes, to a good extent I feel I am getting my money’s worth. The average package is around ₹4.7–5 LPA, and the college provides decent placements, infrastructure, and support, though more industry exposure is needed
