Heritage - More than just a college

Heritage Institute of Technology or HIT as fondly called by the students provides you with an experience very few colleges can boast about. Going by the very basic parameters that everyone chooses a college Heritage has a wonderful teaching staff who would go to any lengths to solve any doubt no matter how silly it might be. Regular examinations and Vivas make sure that the students are in sync with the course curriculum and review sessions are conducted to identify and rectify a student's weakness. Academics are not the only thing to talk about in Heritage. Heritage can proudly boast as to be the only engineering college in the city who conducts regular debate competitions where people from the entire country take part in. It also has a rotaract club of its own, The Rotaract Club of Heritage Institute Of Technology, which conducts a vast number of projects all year round. There are clubs for music and fashion as well as fashion which are well recognised. To talk about the cultural life of Heritage, one must talk about Eclecia, the cultural fest of the institute. Spanning over a course of 3 days it is an experience worth having and probably why it is ranked as the second best fest in the state. The campus life is varied to say the least. In each and every corner their is something or the other happening be it a random jam sessions between students or testing of robots or simply chilling in the canteen. What really is worth noting is the transperant relationship between the seniors and the juniors. Affectionately called "dada" and "didi" one simply can't go through college without their words of wisdom. The college is accredited to NAAC meaning that there is an active student council. However contrary to popular belief the council is void of any form of violence and does in all its capabilities try to provide us,the students, a memory to cherish for. All in all HIT is one of the premium private engineering colleges in the city and far more superior than its competitors in terms of academics, campus life and events.

The environment is good for study and fun. Good infrastructure and well structured library where u can sharp your brain. The main problem of this college is about faculties(except one or two) and placement....core companies dont come in this college... So it's good for IT's but not so good for core.

A college made to enlighten young minds shaping them to a better citizen. Keeping labs ready and sports complexes prepared with an inbuilt library and hostel facilities. Lots of teaching staff and curricular events into the campus as well.Overall a nice college to study.
