Holy Kings College of Engineering and Technology (HKCET), Ernakulam, provides various engineering courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Holy Kings College of Engineering and Technology admission procedure is structured to choose merit students based on competitive entrance exams. Holy Kings College of Engineering and Technology admissions are given to B.Tech courses based on Kerala Engineering Architecture & Medical Examination (KEAM), whereas admissions to M.Tech are based on Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) scores.
For B.Tech programmes in Holy Kings College of Engineering and Technology, the candidates should have 10+2 or equivalent with Maths, Chemistry, and Physics as mandatory subjects. For M.Tech programmes, a B.E./B.Tech degree in the relevant field is preferred with the rider that they should have a valid GATE score.
KEAM tests the aspirants in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and checks their conceptual knowledge and problem-solving abilities in these subjects. GATE tests the aspirants in their respective field of engineering. The candidates are requested to prepare themselves accordingly for these tests by studying the recommended syllabus and attempting question papers of the previous years.

HKCET provides five B.Tech streams:
Holy Kings College of Engineering and Technology admission to all these streams on the basis of KEAM ranks. Every stream possesses an intake capacity that is different from the remaining ones as follows: Mechanical Engineering (120 seats), Civil Engineering (90 seats), Computer Science and Engineering (60 seats), Electronics and Communication Engineering (30 seats), and Electrical and Electronics Engineering (30 seats).
There are two M.Tech programmes provided by the college: M.Tech Industrial Instrumentation and Control, and M.Tech Structural Engineering and Construction Management. Both programmes take 24 seats. Holy Kings College of Engineering and Technology admission is done on GATE scores, and the applicants must have a relevant B.Tech or an equivalent qualification.
