you can surely get admissio in IBS hyderabad for mba. Your past scores won’t matter much. If you will work a little more hard you can surely get into the colleg. You need to give cat exam to get in the colleg. And the percentile which is accepted by this college is not very high so it is quite easy to get in. You can also give IBSAT which is a university level entrance exam for this college.

Regarding PGDM finance, ISB &M pune is better than IBS pune.It is the 2nd best preferred college in Pune.The college offers great opportunities to learn and explore as well as to interact with top MNC's through various events, meets and conferences.

Hi Prachi, on comparison of both I would say IBS Hyderabad is way better than IMT Hyderabad. IBS Hyderabad has a very good academic syllabus which is at par with the Harvard standards. The package wise also IBS Hyderabad has an edge over IMT wherein the average package at IMT is around 6.5 lpa whereas in IBS it is around 8-9 lpa. The fees is slightly higher in IBS and the batch size is quite big in IBS which are some of the disadvantage of IBS, but according to placements and teaching and syllabus standards, it is IBS which makes it the best among the two, although both the colleges are top in Hyderabad domicile.

Summer Internship Fee - 228000

Total fee is 14.3 Lakhs.

It provides good placement package for marketing field. IBS Hyderabad is the top of all the IBS colleges and IBS mumbai comes second to it. And coming to the second question, Post Graduate Programme in Management is an one year course mainly aimed at aspirants who are looking to go to next level in their career, or looking to run after their family business or entrepreneurs who are highly skilled. It is an one year course and is also high cost compared to MBA. Whereas MBA is a two year full course for freshers as well as those who have a less exposure to industrial work experience and those who aspire to get into a higher exposure side from beginning. It is low cost studies compared to PGPM and the placement is also relatively less compared to PGPM. For enrolling into IBS, one has to clear IBSAT in order to acquire admissions.

You have a good work experience which will definitely help you in the final selection process. However, admission also depends on your score in the entrance exam ( IBSAT/ GMAT® /NMAT by GMACTM/CAT) and your performance in the GD/PI.

Also, I would suggest that with such a good work experience you also can aim for any other top college. Make a wise decision.
