IIAMR Bangalore Facilities

Indian Institute of Ayurvedic Medicine and Research (IIAMR), Bangalore provides all the necessary facilities to their students which they need at the time of course. IIAMR facilities include separate accommodation for boys and girls, medical/ hospital facilities, library, gym, sports facilties, cafeteria, transport and much more. The IIAMR Bangalore also has a library that has huge collection of books and magazines.

In order to encourage the various talents of the students, IIAMR Bangalore provides various opportunities to take part in various cultural activities like music, drama, debate, and quiz in college and at inter collegiate levels.

The college has a boys’ hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.

Library
The College provides a well-equipped library with a collection of both classic and modern works of Indian medicine. The periodical collection consists of 40 current subscriptions on Ayurveda, nutrition, conventional medicine, journals on research, and current advances in Ayurveda from various Universities. During the academic year, the Library is open from Monday to Saturday. Library material is readily accessible to all students, faculty, and other doctors of the Institution. In addition to the main collection, the library maintains a subscription to various journals, a reference collection, an audiovisual collection that includes audiotapes on Yoga, Ayurveda, and CD-ROMs on medicine, Ayurveda, yoga, and herbal drugs, and video cassettes on presentation of rare cases by various prominent practitioners presented at many seminars. The library is computerized and connected to the Internet to browse the latest information on medicine.
Laboratories
The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.
Auditorium
The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.
Cafeteria
The college canteen caters to students with both vegetarian and nonvegetarian preferences.
Medical/Hospital
The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.
I.T Infrastructure
The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.
Gym
The college has a Gym facility for the students.
Sports
The Institute has a sprawling sports ground where students are encouraged for playing games such as hockey, football, basketball, volleyball, cricket, baseball, and other disciplines. Physical culture instructors and coaches are there to train students in various sports disciplines.
Guest Room/Waiting Room
The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.
Classrooms
The college also provides good classroom facilities for all the students.
