The admissions to IITM are done through a centralised counselling process done by GGSIPU, Delhi. The counselling is based on IPU CET scores for the UG courses. For MBA admissions, the counselling is conducted on the basis of CAT. If seats remain vacant, then subsequent counselling rounds are held on the basis of CMAT and CET in that order. The MCA admissions are done on the basis of NIMCET and if seats remain vacant IPU CET and CUET PG scores are used. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply by filling the application form from the IPU website.

IITM Delhi UG Admission Procedure

In order to gain admission into the UG courses at IITM Delhi, candidates have to appear for CET conducted by GGSIPU. They then have to register for the counselling process and obtain seat allotment.

• Register and appear for CET for the concerned programme

• Obtain a valid score

• Visit the admission portal of GGSIPU  ipu.admissions.nic.in

• Pay the counselling registration fee.

• Click on the new candidate registration link

• Register for the counselling process and fill in the details as per instructions

• Fill the college choices (No limit on choices)

• Publication of seat allotment

• Payment of part admission fee to confirm allotment

• Reporting at the institute

• Class 10th and 12th mark sheet and certificate

• Category certificate duly attested (if applicable)

IITM Delhi PG Admission Procedure

In order to gain admission into IITM Delhi MBA, one has to appear for CAT and then register for the centralised counselling process conducted by the university. To gain admission into MCA course at IITM Delhi, a candidate must appear for NIMCET and then participate in the centralised counselling process conducted by the university.

It must be noted that for MBA admissions if seats remain vacant after counselling conducted on the basis of CAT scores, then GGSIPU will conduct the counselling through CMAT scores. If seats still remain vacant, the university will use CET scores. Similarly, for the MCA course, if seats remain vacant,  the university will use CET scores. If seats still remain vacant then the university will use CUET PG scores.
