Boys Hostel
The college has a boy’s hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.
Girls Hostel
The Girls Hostel of IMIT is located in the college campus. The hostel campus is inaugurated during Aug 2014 starting with two-floored building with the capacity of totally 23 rooms for 65 students. The hostel is located in an eco-friendly environment surrounded with flower plants and trees. There are two floors, the ground floor has 11 rooms and the first floor has 12 rooms. Among 23 rooms all rooms are allowed to accommodate students with each room can occupy up to 3 students. There is a large study hall located on the first floor. To involve in group studies, the students can make use of the study hall. A spacious dining hall with seating capacity of around 60 students at a time with kitchen equipment such as exhaust system, water cooler, water purifier plant, Chutney grinder, Mixer grinder, and other essential utensils. Quality purified water is provided to the students using a water purifier. 24 hours security service is provided for the hostel. The students can relax by involving in indoor or outdoor games such as chess, caroms, shuttle etc during their leisure time. A center courtyard is provided within the built-up area for playing shuttle. For relaxation and newsgathering, the students can make use of Television which is available within the Mess hall.
Library
The College Library is enriched with the latest edition of textbooks, 40,000 in numbers consist of National & International journals. A separate Reading Room for the students is also available to them, where they can access national newspapers, latest magazines from Technology, Digital World, Education, and General Awareness.
I.T Infrastructure
The college has Modern Computer laboratories for accessing the internet, preparing presentations, computer-based teaching, and other academic purposes.IMIT has following laboratory facilities. It consists of a well equipped Linux Lab. It consists of a well equipped Windows Lab. It consists of a well equipped Microprocessor Lab.
Auditorium
The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminar.
Alumni Associations
The college has a good networking for the alumni association.
Laboratories
The college has a departmental based laboratories facility for the students.

IMIT or Institute of Management and Information Technology is a Government constituent college of Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Rourkela . The college offers admission to its various Management and Technical courses on the basis of OJEE course.

Both the ladies and Gents hostel are wifi enabled (as per the official website) but there are no information available regarding the wifi facilities in the campus.
