• Checking the eligibility requirement: Candidates wishing admission to M.Tech, MBA and MCA courses offered by the institute must check the eligibility criteria before applying to the desired program. The eligibility criteria for the courses offered by IMIt, Cuttack is as per the guidelines issued by OJEE. 

• Filling the application form: Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria need to fill an application form of OJEE in online mode. The application form must be filled out accurately and all required documents must be submitted as per the specifications. 

• Entrance exam: Successfully registered candidates are issued an admit card which they need to carry with them to the examination centre. Candidates need to appear for OJEE. 

• Result declaration: The authority announces OJEE results in online mode in the form of scores and rank. The authority also releases the OJEE cutoff along with the result. 

• Counselling: Qualified candidates need to appear for the counselling sessions where they need to fill and lock their preferences. The authority publishes seat allotment results based on various factors. 

• Admission fee payment: Candidates who are granted admission to the Institute of Management and Information  Technology,  Cuttack need to pay the admission fee to secure their seat.
