Institute of radio physics and electronics one of the prestigious department of Rajabajar Science College Campus. The infrastructure of the department is very good. There are two separate building for this department one building(Sisir Mitra Bhawan)is for theoretical classes and one building (CAS Building)is for practical classes.Lab facility is also good. Numbers of books are available in library. There is no free WiFi facility for students.The classrooms are well maintained.

I am studying here BSC- B.Tech (After completing BSC ) in Radio physics and electronics .The department is one of the oldest department under Calcutta University.The faculty of the department is very good. That's why I have chosen this college. The teachers teach the students very well . The teachers help the students to complete their projects and they guide them to perform technical fests of various colleges too. The teachers encourage the students mainly to do higher studies and research.

Previously,the quality of placement was not so good. But ,now the quality of placement is improving day by day. Various multinational companies have come to the University technical Campus, Saltlake to recruit students. But as it is a research institute also many students want to do higher study and research work here.

The course fees are affordable .The admission fees are around 5,600/- and the semester fees are also approx 3,600/-. Compare to any other private colleges here course fees are very less.One can complete his/her degree within 50,000 /-here.

The environment of the college is very good. It is at Rajabajar. So, the location of the college is also very good. Students are safe inside the college campus. Security guards are available in front of the college gate every time.The students of the college participate in various tech. fest organised by various colleges, competitions and cultural events also.

Though the most of the buildings are old buildings as it is a very old institute but the campus is well maintained and well decorated.

The college is well equipped and all the facilities are used to the fullest. We have great classrooms, well equipped libraries, sports centre and hostels. The living spaces are cleaned every day and the food available in the canteens are hygienic.

I'm in the 2nd year of ECE in this institution. We are taught by the best of teachers who constantly work in making the subject lucid for us and also open to help us with our problems and doubts as well as encourage us to bring out our best.

Campus placement officer has been recruited, who is working a lot in making this process smooth for each of the students. Almost everyone gets placed. Our college is very supportive in this matter....

The course fee is very small compared to other engineering colleges. The course fee can never be compared with the innumerable facilities we enjoy.

The campus is great. The students take part in every field of activity ; be it extra curricular or related to studies. Well connected with bus and train routes. the office staff is polite leaving a few occasions.

The rajabazzar science college of university of calcutta is the oldest and one of the renowned institution of India. Infrastructure is so glamorous and attractive but internal construction is very good. All the lacture halls are air conditioning and having projector screen...

Professors of this college are highly qualified and have a awesome student interaction. Professors help students in all the projects subjects . They teaching in this colleges is very research and development specific. Students from this department had acquired a good place in all the research and development field of indian.

As this college has stated the B-tech couse from last 6 year. It doesn't good placement but now companies has started to come in the campus and heire students. I surely belive that in next few years the placement will exponentially increase.

As this is a government college and students get admission in this college through all india test WBJEE . Hence course fee is very affordable and low every student can easily able to peruse their degree.

Location of this institution is kolkata city near sealdah near rajabazzar . Busses and vehicle are always available to go anywhere from this college in kolkata. Students are very friendly and coperative. They help every students who come from any part of the world. Teachers support student. Although the campus is not so large it has not a very big ground and sports place. It also have no any extra curricular activity space. There is no big auditorium like IITS and NITS.

Infrastructure is good. Class are clean and well maintained. Bathroom are relatively clean than other institutes in Kolkata I've seen. Most of the classes have AC and projectors. The departmental library is well built.

The curriculum is not up-to-date with current requirements. Theory is more of a focus here than practical knowledge which is more important to an engineer in my opinion. Some teachers are not student friendly.

There was no placement cell till this year. This year we got a placement officer so hard to say what will happen in the future. I don't think teachers actually care whether or not students get jobs. This might change in future.

Only good thing about this course is that it's cheap but I will hesitate to even this much if I had known sooner.

There is little to no campus life as we don't get much breaks between classes and even if we did there's not much to do.

Infrastructure is good.But modern technology instruments are not available too much.Moreover,shortage of instruments,especially in laboratories.Classrooms are air conditioned, library is good and availability of books is fine enough.Internet facility is available in the library, anyone can accesss it.Every department has its own separate libraries, so no issues there.But its not a 24×7 library, library remains open in the weekdays only from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm.So it needs improvement.

Studying ece cause I have an aspiration to advance my career in space technologies and astronomical engineering. The quality of teaching is good as well.Professors and co. are helpfull as well.Curriculum is proposed by aicte .So,no issues there.The study needs some recent development though.No,job readiness is not to be aspired of.It's below par.

The placement quality is poor.No one thinks about placement here.The scenario is truely bad.Recently a placement officer is admitted here.Companies need to come here and judge the students.But the students are not given opportunities for placements

As a government institution, they fee is very low.7-8k onwards.So,value for money is justified. It's very worthy.But the dept. Is build on advancement of learning.Learn well,be prepared.You have to prepare by yourself for a job opportunity.

Not a high tech campus. But scenario is good .The campus is good.Cultural aspect ,it is good as well.There is a freeness in the campus life.Gym room is available.A small field is availbale as well.More indoor & outdoor games and activities are welcomed.

Experience is good so far.Academics are good,but placement wise the situation needs to be improved.

We do have all the necessary infrastructure, faculties and equipments for our study purpose. The factulties do help us with any study related problem and provide us sufficient soft copies of study materials. We don't have the wifi access or smart boards though we have projectors.

Teachers are quite good their respective field. They not only teach us but also suggest us many possible carriers. The quality of teaching very good. The teachers are consistent. And they provide sufficient soft copies too.

Placement is very poor. For our department we don't get much opportunities. And also this course includes two types of student one from wbjee exam which is after higher secondary exam and another from graduation courses. Those b.sc b.tech students are often ignored by the corporate companies

Our course fee is like 3500 which is very low with respect to other technology college and this low amount money is affordable for students from all economical background. And yes this money is worth it.

Campus life is marvelous. We do share a good time in canteen or in the park. And besides those we do have places do sit and relax. We can do study there also. It is located in very good location. And campus is safe.

7/10.The only problem is division of departments in different campuses. Otherwise facilities and infrastructure is good enough. Though I am not quite aware about the medical facilities. Rating would be 7/10

It is extremely higher studies oriented... not satisfactory as for the corporate sector. Internships not organised by college. But if your goal is higher studies...then there can be no better place. Placements are also poor.

3/10. Placement has been awful with records. But placement officer has recently been appointed. Hope that conditions will improve. As of now, students mostly arrange for interships, placements on their own...off campus.

Location wise...great. but campus life is awful because of the course curriculum.

Infrastructure is good enough. There are 2 large building of our department. There is enough space to do group studies, group works. Separate laboratories for each topic. Library is of very much reach quality. It is too good. Librarians are helpful, polite, disciplined. Only negative thing is that washrooms are not so clean.

It's a very good institute for higher studies. I think it is the only and best institute in India to do PhD in Radio physics. Professors are very good and enough well known. Their teaching skills are fantastic. They are always ready to help and clear any doubt.

As it was said earlier that it is best college for higher studies in this subject. Placement is not so good here. But new placement officer has joined recently. So nowadays its being heard that placement is now of better quality.

They really do value for money. Cost of the course is very less than other colleges comparatively. Their is no extra money has to be paid in the mid time of the course for any reason.

College campus is very good. At first it's safe and secure for all. Non teaching staffs are also very polite and helpful. Nature is surrounded by the campus.

Our class rooms are clean and clear...air conditioners are available in all rooms and canteen.lift available here.library is also good.food of canteen is hygienic..our room of hostel is very uncomfortable.

Academic is very good here..the teachers are well knowledgeable...all teachers encourage you to persue higher studies in future... teachers maintain the time schedule regularly... they help us very much..

Placement cell is not strong here...it is average in position..but recently new placement officer has arrived here..we hope placement officer will help us ..if you have the talent then you can go for off campus placement.

Our course cost per year is reasonable.fee is very less.no issue or problem with semester fees.in every semester we pay about 3000/-.we are enjoying the academics and the teaching..even secretary is also good..

I don't like the location... Raja bazar area.. don't like the surroundings...but metro station,bus,auto available here.then students enjoy the tech fest and fresher's pary,stex etc....and teachers help anyone about internship, projects etc..

Cleanliness is no doubt maintained here. Foods are totally hygienic. There are smart boards and AC all around the classrooms, library and laboratory. Plenty of fresh air and contamination free environment in campus. Classrooms are wide. Lab equipment is okay.

I have done graduation in Physics from university of Calcutta. Currently I'm pursuing post B.Tech in Radiophysics and Electronics engineering from Rajabazar Science College. In my opinion, quality of teaching in some college needs to be a bit developed! But I must say some faculties are outstanding here. Yes, curriculum is updated always. And yeah i hope my current study will make me job-ready.

Actually I've not experienced it by my own yet. So, no clear idea about placement cell. What I've heard from seniors is the placement cell has been activated since the previous year and is doing well these days. Still the strategy of on campus placement must be modified.

Approx 6k or 7k. Yes. The money I'm paying is worth it. Because as per my financial structure this is not too expensive and instead of this little expense I'm getting a security in further job/ research field.

The location of my college is 92 APC Road, rajabazar,machuabazar, kolkata, 700009. Yes it's totally safe and free of ragging. Campus life is good in one word.
