The eligibility criteria for admission into B. Tech Information Technology program of Institute of Radio Physics and Electronics-University of Calcutta Kolkata is Candidate must passed 10+2 with minimum 50% marks or equivalent from a recognised board.
Admission is done through counselling based on the rank obtained in WBJEE.

College Infrastructure
Institute of radio physics and electronics one of the prestigious department of Rajabajar Science College Campus. The infrastructure of the department is very good. There are two separate building for this department one building(Sisir Mitra Bhawan)is for theoretical classes and one building (CAS Building)is for practical classes.Lab facility is also good. Numbers of books are available in library. There is no free WiFi facility for students.The classrooms are well maintained.

College Infrastructure
The college is well equipped and all the facilities are used to the fullest. We have great classrooms, well equipped libraries, sports centre and hostels. The living spaces are cleaned every day and the food available in the canteens are hygienic.
Its a good college to pursue research and development degree
