Academics
The Master of Arts in Political Science programme provides the student with a robust academic basis due to it being developed according to the standards set by Delhi University (DU). The faculty are knowledgeable, helpful and focus on students developing an understanding of the concepts being taught through lecture, discussion, and presentations.
College Infra
The college provides a clean and well-kept campus, including fundamental resources such as lecture classrooms, a library, and seminar halls. The surroundings are peaceful and help students learn academically.
Campus Life
Campus life decent and safe .
Placements
Placements for postgraduate level arts degrees are average at best. There is a small number of companies visiting the campus and the majority of the available positions will not relate at all to the Political Science major. More often than not, students choose to pursue continued education through either a Master's Program, Research or Competitive Exams (such as UPSC).

At Janki Devi Memorial College, the overall academic atmosphere is positive, particularly with respect to Political Science. The college effectively adheres to the University of Delhi’s official curriculum, and most instructors are seasoned, encouraging, and eager to assist students with concerns about course content.
College Infra
The college has a good level of educational support including classes (classrooms), libraries, and computer labs as well as some (but not all) of their classrooms presently having smartboards. Overall, this relatively average and could use improvement (upgrading) could be upgraded.
Campus Life
The environment is good for both girls; therefore, it can be said that the campus provides a good basis for social and cultural activities, which ultimately lead to development and personal development; although the environment is not very active like in other top 5 du college.
Placements
BA Political Science students at Janki Devi Memorial College do not have a particularly solid or dominant placement record, but they are actively supported by the placement cell that provides students with professional development through training sessions and workshops, as well as mock interview opportunities to prepare them for the interview process.
Value For Money

Teaching quality is fairly good. Professors are approachable and explain topics well. The DU syllabus is followed properly and regular assignments and internal assessments help students stay consistent.

The college facilities are satisfactory. Classrooms are comfortable for lectures and the library is a good place to study. The campus is compact but tidy and most facilities required by students are available.
Campus Life
Student life here is quite engaging. Different societies organise events, workshops and cultural activities. The atmosphere is friendly and students usually find good opportunities to explore interests.
Placements
Placement opportunities exist but are not very high. Some companies visit for internships and beginner roles. Many students prefer gaining experience through internships during college. Placements could see an improvement.
Value For Money
Considering the affordable DU fee structure, studying at JDMC is reasonably priced. Students also get opportunities to participate in societies, competitions and events which add to the overall value.
