Placements for postgraduate level arts degrees are average at best. There is a small number of companies visiting the campus and the majority of the available positions will not relate at all to the Political Science major. Teaching quality is fairly good. Professors are approachable and explain topics well. The DU syllabus is followed properly and regular assignments and internal assessments help students stay consistent.

Placements here depends on your Hard work.Big four visited last year too and many students got placed due to their skills and knowledge.However appropriate placement opportunities are provided by the college.
It depends on person to person.Some facilities do not serve what they claim to be.However there are various societies which provide you appropriate exposure and experience to grow and interact with people outside.
Campus life is a new and refreshing experience and as a fresher I got a lot of exposure and experience to grow within the first year.There are departmental fests for you to enjoy as well.The right friend group will encourage you to grow.

I am studying BA History Hons from this college because I have a deep interest in History and want to pursue my career in History. Academics here are good with experienced and supportive teachers. The curriculum follows DU standard and focuses more on practical learning, not just on theoretical knowledge.
Placements are okay but not very strong, especially for Arts students. Many students try to find internships and jobs by their own or they prefer doing higher studies. Overall placements are moderate with average packages around 3-5 LPA for some courses

It is one of the prettiest and cleanest campuses in DU. the green and maintained garden are the best place to relax and the washrooms are suprisingly well - maintained. The library is great place to study which is close to a decent canteen which has the usual mother dairy and nescafe.
Since it is an A + NAAC accredited college the faculty is top notch and very approachable and the professors are serious about the curriculum as they greatly care about finishing the syllabus properly and timely.
The career opportunity Cell is quite active bringing in some decent companies though the general package of an average student is between 4Lpa to 5 Lpa. While commerce students get a better package, its a bit of a struggle for BA students without any strong extra skill.

Life here is vibrant but safe. The societies - especially jhankar (dance) and Anubhuti (drama) are very active and give a lot of exposure. The annual fest is always a highlight, plus being in rajinder nagar it means that its a great place for after class hangout.

Janki Devi Memorial College is one of the best girls college of delhi univeristy in terms of infrastructure. It has big lawn greenery and hygenic cafeteria for students. The buildings are well maintained and classrooms are clean. It has a big library for studying as well.
Academics of this college is also good. The proffessors are experienced and provide proper guidance to the students so that they perform well in exams. They make classes interesting and completes syllabhs before time.
Placement of Janki Devi Memorial Collefe is not so bad but also not upto the mark as the placement cell doesnot provide many internship opportunities and also they do not attract big or good companies in the college to provide job opportunities.
