Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate Course offered by Kalyani Government Engineering College, Nadia recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, Kolkata.

Eligibility Criteria

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

Admission Details

Admission is taken through WBJEE (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination). Diploma holders can take admission through WB-JELET (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination of Lateral Entry) in B.Tech 2nd year.

College infrastructure is very good and campus is ragging free and it's very clean.Good labs are there.Roads are well lighted.The area is around 107 acres.The campuss have gardens all around.No chance of disease and anything...

College Infrastructure

Our college's have 5 hostels and well equipped infrastructure,labs, and a research laboratory. Also the college provides free WiFi networks in the campus and hostels.Also at every bedroom of hostels are cleaned and well furnished.We have smart study room in the hostels.Food of the hostel is modarate quality.Floor is not very cleaned but it's well maintained.There is a very big library in our college with a big collection of all the necessary books .We have 2 big playground for us.

College Infrastructure

The college is an old government college and the infrastructure is very large. There are several classrooms in the college. Wifi connection is provided within the classrooms. Projectors are used for teaching. They are in good condition. The hostels are quite good and clean but needs to be bigger.
