College infrastructure is very good but the canteen food is not of so good quality. WiFi and connection facilities are not here. Sometimes if you have to make a call then you have to go outside the college.
I am studying bcom programme and commerce staff is very qualified and curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments. Teachers are cooperative and supportive . Overall good and dedicated staff.
I am in 2nd year and had not participated in placements yet so isn't aware about it but average package somewhere ranges between 3 to 4 lakh per annum. College is very supportive in terms of placement and prepare students to tackle interview.
Fees is around 9000 every year and at this cost no doubt its absolutely worth it.
College provides many opportunities to students they can take part in dance, drama, sports, social, fashion society etc. In terms of extracurricular activities it is totally amazing.
I had a great experience in kamala Nehru college , although its infrastructure can be improved but this point doesn't bother me more because we were not there to admire building but were there to enjoy each and every moment of our college life , we had a clean and well managed classrooms and staff . Our faculties were awasome and the main part of our college life was the canteen and the chaupal.
I was persuing B.com program in Kamala Nehru College, and let me tell u it has a best teaching staff and quality of education can't be compared with any other college. Our college curriculum was Updated and it includes all the developments in the respective fields. If a student is really focusing in the classroom then it might be very easy to clear all the doubts and you might achieve long lasting knowledge in that respective course.
Altought I haven't applied for the placement in my college because i have another plan but Whatever i know our college was good at placements .My classmates got placed in many reputed companies and had a good package.
According to my point of view , i think its quite a good college for higher study and it really value your money. It charges a very reasonable amount for persuing any course in graduation. My course cost me around 10k per year. And yes I feel I am got my money's worth because of its quality of education.
Kamala Nehru college is located in Just in front of August kranti marg and Siri fort route, New Delhi . It's have best and safe location because Its very easy to Board in any bus aur auto because it's location is near red light . But one thing I really missed metro station , its nearest metro station was green park and to reach there we need to take auto so it was the negative point. Student engaged in many activities as we had lots of fest of respective departments and an annual fest 'Ullas'.
Overall its is a good college with excellent feculties and good staff. We had a great support of our administrative team of our college. We enjoyed a lot during college life we had fun at the same time we also had a good academic response .
It is beautiful there are so many beautiful parks and many other things which can be explored. College canteen is much better then expected also we have a cafe and chaupal in our college which is so beautiful
So amazing. The teachers are always ready to help at any cost. They provide us so many extra notes fore reference that our college experience good resultevery year . So blessed to be in this college that I can't explain
Very high possibility of placements is there also and the most amazing thing is packages . My college students get a big amount of packages and that's too fascinating for the Freshers who dream of coming here
Good enough

The college has well maintained infrastructure. There is a huge library. There is a hygiene cafeteria offering nutritious food. The classrooms are well maintained. There are beautiful lawns and auditorium and an open amphitheatre.
One of the best colleges in Delhi University for Philosophy. The faculty here is best and are understanding and cooperative. Classrooms have healthy discussions. The curriculum is well updated with contemporary development.
Mostly Philosophy students don't go for placement. They either go for higher studies or research field. The placement cell is gradually developing and getting inclusive. But there is stil scope for improvement.
Completely value for money forthe holistic education that it provides.
Campus life is good. People mostly hangout in back lawns. The location is near to metro and bus stations. There is a Photostat shop located within the campus. The amphitheatre is also a good spot to hangout.
College infrastructure very good. Very spacious campus. Our Park is also very large. The classroom is good. I was very much comfortable in my college. We have clean washrooms. Hygiene is maintained. Canteen area is very good. We have nescafe also.
I was enrolled in BA programme. So our teachers were very polite and friendly with all the students. Our curriculum is always updayed and includes all recent topic for best of our knowledge. Yes it makes us job ready.
Placement opportunities were mainly for commerce stream students. Every year around 30-40% of students from commerce and science stream get placement. The college authority are very supportive also. Helpful also.
Value for money is very much. Very minimal cost per year. Completely affordable. Our college have different societies also. So it's cost effective.
Campus life was best. It gave very homely feeling. All other staffs of college were very welcoming. And the college authority also were active in handling emergency. I had a beautiful experience at my college in these 3 years.
College is equipped with all the necessary facilities like proper washrooms, gymnasium, canteen etc. the food in canteen is prepared under hygienic conditions and is equally delicious as well. There are spacious classrooms sufficient to accommodate the students.
The teachers are well versed with their subjects and make sure that everyone participated in the classroom discussions. The knowledge that they possess is apparent from their style of teaching and the way they communicate.
A lot of companies come for placements and a lot o students get placed. However the college can call a lot more and better known companies as well to be at par with its competitors. Nevertheless, the placement cell actively hosts seminars and webinar’s as well which help in enhancing the students’ knowledge and be industry ready
The college has excellent infrastructure. Classrooms are spacious with projectors attached. There is a huge library along with a newspaper reading corner. There are beautiful wall graffiti mostly done by the students of Art society. There are also computer labs with active Wi-Fi. You will also find a Cafeteria, gym, basketball court and sports room. The auditorium has a great capacity and along with this there is also a amphitheater. The lawns are beautiful and well maintained.
I did my graduation in Philosophy. Initially although I was blank about the course but with each day passing I felt in love with the subject. I believe we got the best faculty. We had many healthy and productive discussion within our classes. We read multi-dimensional papers and topics were well updated with the contemporary times. The course will help you broaden your perspective and strengthen your reasoning skills. You will come out as a more evolved and opinionated version of yourself.
I was not a part of the placement cell. But I well aware that the cell was very active in its work. It was open for students of all departments. Mostly Journalism, Economics and Commerce students went for placements.
During my time, the fees for my course were somewhat in between eight to nine thousand. So yes it was very much inexpensive. There was no extra charges for joining any societies.
I loved my campus life because of the liberal environment that it provided. The college is located in a prime location, easily accessible. Within campus, there is a bank, photostat shop and a medical room. The backside lawns are favorite spots for hanging out particularly in winters. The even semesters are always exciting because of multiple fests.
Very good Peace of work on infrastructure. Nice environment with lot of facilities. Three floor library stocked with books. The infrastructure of the college is well maintained having wifi connectivity on campus. Awesome cafeteria with good food. Lush green environment.
I did my graduation in philosophy hons and in my department all the teachers were very good, friendly, helpful and understanding. I have experienced so many great things here. Extremely skilled, knowledgeable teachers are there to teach, guide throughout your semesters.
It depends on course like b.com, economics, journalism receives good number of placements. The placement cell is very active and keeps informing students regarding everything. Placement process is very good although there is no placement for philosophy hons department. You can go in teaching field from this course
Affordable fees for middle class family and it's worth spending money on
The ground is really huge and clean. The campus life is very eventful.
Amazing and great life changing experience
Equipments for psychology, geography and sciences are ample however coming from a media course a media lab is desirable and we evidently lack one. We have one of the best and we'll stocked libraries in the university.
The professors are amazing and I can vouch for the fact that in these 3 years I've learned more than I could learn in a lifetime thanks to my professors. The environment is conducive to learning and I got very lucky with my professors. Debates and discussions on current political and social issues are frequently held in class.
Placements are reserved for Commerce people mostly but students from other courses can apply. Companies like KPMG come to recruit. However the college label is good enough to land an interview or an internship at a prestigious institution.
Considering media course charges 16K a year which is the highest grossing course in whole of du the lack of a lab doesn't exactly give money's worth but it's good enough for other courses which don't charge as much as journalism.
The location is in posh South Delhi, haiz khas, saket, shahpur jat are all nearby. The campus is clean, small but we'll maintained. The lawns and grounds are aesthetic.
Go for the course and not for the label!
The college campus does give one, the vibe of a DU college but it's quite small and stands as a stuffy building of pink. They do have a black/white board facility but lack projectors in most of the classrooms. The college's wifi is only for the namesake and on top of that has a lot of network issues which creates even more panic among the students. The college also doesn't provide a hostel facility for its outstation students which is another flaw. The 'CHAUPAL' is the heart of the college?❤️.
I am pursuing B.A.(Hons) Journalism from KNC and it is one of the best departments in the College. It is also among the top 10 government colleges for Journalism in India which makes me feel so proud. The faculty of this department are highly qualified/experienced and specialise in their respective fields. Class notes, reference books, links on different topic, etc are all provided by the professors. The faculty shares both a personal and a professional relationship with their students.
As far as I have learnt, the college doesn't really provide it's students with many campus placement opportunities. Students have to look for them off campus mostly. Though the college has several great Alumni-s who are doing extremely good in their lives.
The fee is Rs.18,700 for a year which is more than most of the courses that the college provides but reasonable enough for a government college. According to me, I think I am getting my money's worth when it comes to my academics but a big NO in terms of college.
Chaupal, playground, garden and the area infront of the audi are the most loved places in the college. Lectures and their timings are horrible at times and they leave us sitting ideal for long hours. This is quite exhausting for most of the students who have just 3-4 lectures a day but have to stay in the college till the evening. The location of the college is it's speciality but we definitely have a few traffic issues every now and then.
The college has a beautiful diversity and I think that is the best part about it. I have met some amazing and extremely talented girls who inspire me so much. The engagement of the societies is so mesmerizing. Glitz, the fashion society of KNC is among the top fashion societies in DU and also one of the best over-all society of DU. The college even has a queer community. And last but not the least it's high time that the management looks after the college's canteen and it's menu.
