The college comes under the university of Delhi. The location of the college is one of the posh areas in Delhi with a metro station at 15 min walk. Apart from that, the college infrastructure is mediocre, however the garden and Chaupal area is well maintained. The college doesn't a hostel but there are a lot of affordable pg. and flats available nearby with access to markets and hanging spots. Tt has an auditorium, lecture and tutorial rooms, computer labs, ground basketball court, spacious canteen and Nescafe and one of the best libraries in du.
The college follows the course guidelines issued by the university of Delhi and has a very good faculty. The professors are well educated and very friendly and the college is strict for attendance and assignments after the new education policy was introduced.
I don't have much idea about that yet. the placements mostly depend on the course you have selected. though there is a very active placements and internships cell which provides various opportunities.
yes, the fees of the college are very minimal considering its a government college. however, the curriculum, faculty and exposure of the college given value for the money you invested.
The campus life is vibrant with various societies holding one event after another. the societies of the college are very active, and the canteen offers good food while the Chaupal is the usual hanging spot.
College has all necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments. Labs are there, library is huge, sports center is also there. All these are used and well main. Cleanliness and hygiene is maintained.
I did MA English. Syllabus is according to guidelines by DU. Curriculum is updated and we are made job ready by the end of our course. Quality of teaching is very good as compared to other pg classes.
Placements are poor. Salary offers were below industry standards. The process was easy though and college was supportive throughout the process. But better packages and opportunities were there for other courses.
Fee is almost the same across all DU colleges. A part of money I invested here was worth it. There is scope for improvement. Services provided can be more better. Placement opportunities should increase so that as freshers we are placed at right places after graduation.
Being a pg course, the usual undergraduate college life is not what we get to enjoy here. Colleagues are good. College staff are supportive. Location of the college is good and is safe. It can handle all sorts of emergencies.
The college has great infrasturcure with paintings on the wall and a bamboo room, the auditorium is spacious too, have good canteen and Nescafe. The college has basket ball court and a large ground. The classes are clean, and also have adequate laboratories.
As being a DU college it definitely meets the standard for excellent academics, regular classes are being conducted, teachers are supportive and friendly, I have done my bachelor's in Geography, so I can definitely say that the college do have the best teachers.
The college has its own placement cell and apartment from this it has many more other societies, where students can nurture themselves. Even I got a job from the college placement only though it was not related to my course Geography, bjt my friends from other departments like commerce got into kpmg, pwc and many more good companies.
KNC has one of the best infrastructures, college societies, and faculties. The college layout and amenities are designed to cater to the diverse needs of students, like sports, ground, gym, etc. that help create a positive atmosphere.
The curriculum is strong for every course with the best faculties. The curriculum is comprehensive and well-structured. The excellent alumni group is evident in different courses. The focus is always on interactive learning and discussions.
The college has an active placement cell and a strong alumni network that helps colleges in placements. Though not all the courses enjoy the same range of placement but still the alumni network and placement cell help in the same.
It is total value for money.
very happening campus life.
Yes infrastructure is very nice and decent, almost all the facilities are available. High tech and advanced classrooms with ac facilities. The cleanliness and the aesthetics are incomparable. The best you can ask for!!
Literally the best professors and teachers all across delhi University. Highly qualified and well managed organization, the teachers are friendly and mentor their students on regular basis. Great curriculum
Placement cell is the most hardworking team for this college, the salary offered is decent to nice pertaining to the courses. The highest package offered is nearly 22 to 25 lacks with the Average being 7 lakhs
Yes, the fees is less when compared to private institutions, the food at the canteen is subsidized. Even at other food stalls the prices are decent and the flats located near around charge as per the market rate
Fun and exciting. The campus is just so pretty, being a women's college , the vibe adds to the charm. Safest area around delhi and pgs and flats are well constructed and located. You will easy find an auto the moment you step out of metro station
It's a lovely college, the professor's the students and all the staff and authorities makes this place feels like home to Students. Has good wifi connectivity, the food tastes best, promotes every kind of extra curricular activities.
We face so much prblem in college due to this bad infrastructure.. our classrooms have facili8like wifi, smarrboards but when it comes to network it didn't connect.. but yess living spaces are clean and food hygienic
It's gud in academic. I'm studying Bcom hons amd teachers are so friendly.. they have target not just to complete syllabus but development of skills by doing some practical basis work.. so it will better help for job.
I am not sure about the placement from the college.. but yess our college organise camp and invite companies for placement.. I think out of 100, approx 60 got placed.. but don't know about the package.. but yess most pf the placements done from commerce background students.
My cost per uear is rupees 13000 something.. Yes I feel I am getting my money's worth.. but sometimes due to face problems there it seems like it's costly as per the facilities I am getting here......
College campus is not very best and not worst... But it's nice as along with studies you can engage in more activities also. The teachers are so cool .. all are friendly.. college's location is near GREEN PARK its so safest area.. no violence no anything else
This college is good overall but yes if we compare it with others North campus's college's then you can say that more colleges are better than it.. If you got admission in this college you won't be disppoint..
Good, though knc has some infrastructure constraints but it is all fault of funding, knc is one of the best clg of du but it is very underrated, also it doesn’t get much funding as compared to other clg of du i.e jmc , srcc , lsr etc
Excellent academics , professors are very friendly and knowledgeable too , they have completed their education from best college, which obviously makes a huge impact if we compare from amy other college .
Good placement opportunity, companies visit in college and recruit many students which gives a great opportunity for student to grab good job, also events like internship fairs are organised by college which provide good opportunities.
Yes value for money , the total year fees of college is 9000 for bcom which is very value for money, because the kind of education provided by college is superb and too for just 900rs which is amazing…
Nice campus, students from different culture, state , community are there which help every student to respect and understand each other’s community, also the infrastructure makes it like cherry on cake..
Good
Regarding the infrastructure I found the college a little poor constructed because there are about 50-60 students in a class and it's very much difficult to manage all of them in a room just because of the size of the classrooms. So it seems difficult to manage students in those classes.
As fas as the education system and the academics is concerned I found my college very much ahead of others. I have seen that Teachers don't pay attention to the students in college but it's not the same in my college. Teachers give you tasks, situation based question which anyways push you to the involvement in the tasks
As a Freshers I'm not that much concerned about the college placements but I guess it's very nice till now. I have heard of a lot of placements and the packages respectively and the college also conduct yearly placement fair for various options.
Yes the fees is very reasonable and it's worth paying it.
As the safety is concerned so the college location is very much safe but to be honest it's very out of the college surroundings because at that particular location there are only two colleges located so sometimes we feel the chaos is missing.
Overall it's a very good college just need to focus on the infrastructure only.
College Infrastructure is not upto the mark. There are not enough classrooms for students. College canteen is not big enough to cater to a large number of students. But, our college has a library which is very spacious and has all the books that are required for studies.
Teachers are very supportive and encouraging. Notes given by them are very helpful. They provide us with sufficient study material to prepare for our exams. Our curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field.
The quality of placements at my college is very good. The highest salary package was of 7LPA- 8LPA. We have a placement cell that updates us about the job and internship opportunities. The placement process is easy and pleasant.
My course costs around 9,000 per year. It's worth my money.
There's not much to explore in the college.
College infrastructure is very good and food available in the canteen is very hygiene. Wi-Fi is available in the college. Smart boards are also available. Campus is very well surrounded by good cafes and stadiums.
I m a student of bsc honours mathematics. The faculty here is very supportive. They tried to help each student in every possible way. Curriculum is updated and includes all the recents developments in the field.
Quality of placements are very good. Around 80 percent of students were placed. Average salary offered is 3.5lakhs per annum. The placement process is easy and pleasant. There is a placement cell that is prospicio in our college which offers us internships.
I feel getting my money's worth.
Campus life is very awesome.
I recommend this college.
