Admission at Karavali Institute of Technology, Mangalore is given to B.Tech, M.Tech and MBA Courses. For KIT Mangalore admission to the B.E programme, candidates have to appear for KCET or COMEDK UGET. For KIT Mangalore admission process for the M.Tech programme, candidates have to appear for Karnataka PGCET or GATE exam. The admission to M.B.A programme is given through scores obtained in entrance exams such as CAT/KMAT/MAT. 

The shortlisted candidates will have to fill the KIT Mangalore application form to appear for counselling. The selected candidates accept the seat allotment by paying the tuition fee.

The institute offers UG courses in engineering such as BE Computer Science and Engineering, BE Mechanical Engineering, BE Electronics and Communication Engineering, BE Aeronautical Engineering, BE Civil Engineering and others.  The duration of the BE Course is 4 years.

• The qualified candidates of KCET or COMEDK UGET will have to appear for counselling.

• Candidates must verify their documents .

• After verification, candidates will have to log in using their KCET number or COMEDK UGET to fill in their preferred choice of courses and colleges and give preference to KIT, Mangalore as their first college.

• Seats are allotted to candidates on the basis of merit scores of the entrance test, availability of seats and preferences filled.

MBA and M.Tech Course is offered at postgraduate level in KIT Mangalore. The duration of these courses is 2 years.

• The qualified candidates of Karnataka PGCET will have to appear for counselling.

• Candidates with a valid GATE score are exempted from the entrance test.

• A separate merit list is released for the candidates with GATE scores.

• Candidates must register and verify their documents.

• After verification, candidates will have to fill in their preferred choice of courses and colleges and give preference to KIT, Mangalore as their first college.

• Seats are allotted to candidates on the basis of merit scores of the entrance test, availability of seats and preferences filled.

• The selected candidates have to submit the documents and pay the fees to secure their seat at the college.

KIT Mangalore MBA Admission Process

• Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria.

• Eligible candidates must appear for Karnataka PGCET.

• Candidates with valid CAT/KMAT/MAT scores are exempted from the entrance test.

• The authority releases the merit list.

• A separate merit list is released for the candidates with CAT/KMAT/MAT scores.

• The shortlisted candidates will appear for Karnataka PGCET counselling.

• Candidates will have to give preference to KIT Mangalore in the choice filling session.

• Seats are allotted to candidates on the basis of merit scores of the entrance test, availability of seats and preferences filled.

MBA seats at KIT Mangalore are offered in the government and management quota. 50% of seats are allotted through the KEA Government and the remaining 50% are management seats. KIT Mangalore has 90 total MBA seats out of which 45 are KEA govt seats and 45 are management seats. 2 seats are for the PH category, 3 for HK, and 40 for RK.
