48 MonthsBachelor of Technology in Biotechnology is four years (8 Semester) full-time undergraduate engineering course offered by Kumaraguru College of Technology, Coimbatore and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai and approve by AICTE.
Eligibility Criteria
Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
Admission Details
- For students who got admission through TNEA online counselling for B.E. /B.Tech. programme.
- Government of Tamil Nadu makes admissions to B.E. / B.Tech. Courses of all the affiliated colleges through a common merit list of candidates administered by Anna University, Chennai.

College Infrastructure
Kct's infrastructure is impressive, providing a perfect ambiance for quality technical education. The campus is adorned with lush green trees, creating a serene environment for students to spend their quality time.

College Infrastructure
Kumaraguru's infrastructure is one among the best! Our college is surrounded by trees all over and a bit of farming is also done in a place. The college has best ambiance and its a treat to our eyes to see from outside but the classrooms are not as classy as expected, though it would be neat and simple. Our college has a vast library with good amount of books with wifi access and a good place to sit and read calmly. It has large play grounds for all sorts of sports activity and has gym facility
