Lsr is famous for its red walls , greenery and infrastructure.Library is equipped with all needy resources . Hostels have wifi ,smart boards to adapt new technology.Cafe of LSR is well known for its tasty and hygienic food.
Teachers focus more on practical knowledge rather than theoritical knowledge.Their way teaching have even online classes interesting.Analytics and practical methods are used to explain us concepts which makes the topic very interesting.
Our Seniors have received amazing annual packages from placement cell . There are various trainings by which one can improve their skills and hence can crack interview.Placemebt cell also provides amazing fellowship opportunities.
Yaa college has made us realized the value of money . Also it is financially affordable and equipped with resources. Cutoffs are sky high to get admission in this college but once it's done you are on the way to learn many things.
It is amazing and definitely so exploring . Campus are so green and big lanes give us the feel of spaciousness which is indeed enjoyed by every lsrian . Also Lsr is a place for tourism due to its incredible beauty.
As much as we have heard from are seniors and professors, the gardens are quite refreshing. Whereas the wi fi doesn't work very well. There are two buildings, it has a lift too. Birds makes the vicinity more joyful.
The college is known for it's academic excellence. Big names like Gita Gopinathan, Gauri Khan, Tina Dabi are some of the famous alumnus. The place will ignite the feminist and humanist in you. Professors regularly take classes. At times certain professors can be disappointing.
The college has more than average placement outcomes. Placement and Internship cell is at your service. They provide you with the information regarding all the internships. Your email will be filled with e-mails of internships.
It is for sure value for money. The fees is 16000/ year.
Don't expect much.
This esteemed institution is known for it's academic excellence. All thanks to the warm and experienced faculty. Due to the pandemic, current first yearers have not experienced college's vicinity and hence commenting on college infrastructure wouldn't be right.
Not been to college yet. So can't comment much. But great emphasis is laid on campus cleanliness and hygiene. Campus is quite eco friendly and it has adopted stray dogs too suggesting it supports animal welfare!! Campus has a big library which is resourceful when it comes to writing research papers. Campus is spacious and attractive.
I am studying literature, the quality of teaching here is par excellence, which is clearly reflected from the strong alumni network and the successful graduates which colleges produces. Professors are really understanding and enthusiastic and talking about myself they have given me a new approach towards problem solving. Curriculum is to the mark and apart from this you are engaged in extra readings which helps you get better understanding of the texts and eventually makes research work easier!!
Placements are worth doing. It gives you a new exposure to work with renowned institutions and organisations and enhances your personality and professional skills, which further counts to build on a strong profile for you. Apart from this there is a thing called "lsr magic", almost every graduate here gets a good placement for a desired pay-scale.
Since its a government affiliated college, fees are not that high and the education we get worth more than what we pay.
Not been to college yet, can say much. But we have different cells and societies through which students can engage in the activities they like. Teachers are supportive and encouraging at the same time. Also it provides a women friendly environment and trust me this institution will help you figure out your direction in life.
If you planning to apply, go ahead and All the best!!
Infrastructure is upto the mark in most aspects. The labs could use an upgrade to latest systems and software. Other than that very clean campus, accessible for persons with disability, library facilities upto the mark, classrooms are good, two buildings, amphitheatre, auditorium, lawns, canteen etc. Hostel facilities however need a severe upgrade. Not upto the mark in terms of capacity or quality. The college administration is also uncooperative.
Academically intensive and upto the mark. Academics are given equal importance and quality of faculty is good in most departments. There is scope for better time allocation so that students interested in extra curriculars do not have to suffer on the academic front.
Placement Cell is hard working and provides support to students. There is a need to increase accessibility for students and also diversity in profiles offered. Other than that there is no dearth of opportunities on campus.
Affordable fees, under 20,000 per year without hostel. Hostel fees around 6-7k per month. Options for freeships and scholarships available for students who need them. The entire experience is worth the money.
Campus Life is good in terms of opportunities and exposure to diverse people and experiences. Peaceful and conducive environment. However, sharp divides of accessibility exist among students. The environment can get overly competitive and pressurising at times. Improvement on these issues is imperative. The college administration is also severely uncooperative of the students.
Transformative experience for me. All credits to the students of LSR.
Our college has a beautiful infrastructure and it is filled with an enormous amount of greenery. It has all varieties of facilities. It has a sitting area in the garden with shade where you can study and hang out with friends. It has a volleyball court, basketball court, indoor games, etc. It has a big library with a great range of diversity of books.
I am pursuing Maths Hons. course from this college. The mathematics department of the college is brilliant. Ours is a batch of 55 students and teachers focus on every student without any partiality. The teachers provide great insight into the concepts of the subject.
The college has quite a good reputation regarding the placements after graduation. Many of my seniors have told about the variety and level of reputation of companies that come here for the placement procedure.
The annual cost of my course is around Rs. 18,000 per year. The college also provides scholarships and freeships to some selected students. Overall, it is totally worth it to invest money in this course in the college.
So far, we first years have not seen the campus life yet, but I can imagine how fabulous the campus life must be here. I once visited the college and came to know that there are many pet dogs inside the campus under the Campus care program who are willing to share the love with every one of us.
The overall experience has been quite beautiful and happy for me. The teachers have been very helpful and easily approachable. It never lets you feel excluded. The seniors are very caring and helpful. It has been a year and it already feels like an extended family.
The hostel is worth the money, the benefit of being a hostel resident is that of having a safe company of your friends always so as to help you whenever you're in need. Talking about the food provided, it is satisfactory and condition of the hostel is okay too!
The teachers were over qualified with amazing knowledge level. The teaching quality is brilliant. Teacher takes every lecture seriously and even tutorials too. Course curriculum is totally relevant. Who actually wants to purse economics, should go for it.
The average package for LSR students tends to be over 5 Lacs p.a. , with some of the top recruiters offering over 15 Lacs p.a. as well. The placement process is relatively streamlined and is easy to enroll yourself into. Some of the top recruiting companies, especially ones that aren't looking for specific course requirements, are McKenzie, Bane, Accenture. Some that are specifically looking for Eng (H) and related courses are Publicizes etc.
The college infrastructure is beautiful and well equipped. The food is extremely tasty and hygienic. I love sitting and reading in the reference library. The college has an ATM and stationery shop which has made students life a lot better.
I'm a second year psychology Hons student at LSR. The teachers are good and have knowledge about their subject. Our curriculum is appropriately designed and includes recent developments. For psychology practicals, labs are there with full facilities.
I'm still in second year, but I've seen my seniors placed in excellent organisations with appreciable salary offers. The college is supportive and always encourage their students. The placement processes are easy, and students get good guidance from teachers.
Crowd of lsr is suing, you will get a diversity of students. Every student here is aware. The best feature is our cafeteria and common room. The cafe is big with extremely tasty food and common room provides mattresses to sleep. The college is in South Delhi, so the area is nice. College has every kind of society and organises seminars for better education of the students.
Ohh! LSR offers one of the best infrastructure and ambience for its students to thrive. The most important part is majority of it was easily accessible to students of all departments. The campus is green, clean, quiet and vibrant. NCC and NSO could have had better offices. There were AV rooms, smart classrooms, Conference rooms, reading rooms beside the library.
Quality of teaching was superb. However, curriculum is one that DU sets. I can definitely say we had relevant learning through out. Making us job ready is a very tough question to answer. Since entire country has miniscule institutes that can make us job ready specifically. But generally speaking if you be here once you will carry an edge wherever you go afterwards.
My department didnt didn't have many options for us to try. Or may be I didnt precisley know what I wanted to pursue. But my negligence is no substance against those who benefited from the guidance provided in the college.
It was more than I could have asked. Had immense exposure. Honed my academics, personality, extra-curriculars. LSR offers quality and discipline.
The infrastructure of lady shri ram collge is very beautiful....the classrooms are spacious and properly equipped...hostel facility is also there in our college and is very good...the college have all the facility including labs and libraries...the wifi facility is also there..overall the infrastructure is good.
I was pursuing BA engkish honors...must say it was the best experience studying in lady shri ram college...the faculty here is too good...and clear all the concepts of the students so well...they have made me into smthng else..
Our college is pretty good in terms of placements....the placement is opportunity is totally dependent on department wise...the highest package till then was around 20 lacs per annum...the placements are offered by the companies that have high quality...
The course fee for the year in that time was around 45,600...I dnt thint the amount is so high...bad I feel the koney I spent is worthy enough as the college offered me everything from studies to good faculties...
The campus is fully green....and which is one of the best part of it...there were different fest that used to be organized...the location of the campus is at good site....it's the amazing college.....
Lady shri ram college is the best one I got....I would suggest girls to go for the College...the will love it the way all the students of the college do....I miss the college time...those were the best years of my life in college
Till now we have seen infrastructure through video calls only, and whatever we have observed that LSR has the best infrastructure. The living spaces are clean and provide hygenic food. The classrooms and laboratories are comparatively good and are well miantained.
Academics is really the best since professors put in all their efforts for the students. Yes, the curriculum is updated and all includes the recent developments in the field I'm studying. It makes job ready as well.
Till now whatever I have got to know, LSR has comparatively good placement opportunities. The highest salary for the last year was 5.6 lakhs(median) for M. A. Economics students. And as per the information by placement cell, placements are good.
Fee as per the semester is around 21000 and I feel it's very much worth.
Campus life as per the seniors, since we haven't got a chance to even visit, it's safe and can handle emergencies.
It's one the best thing to happen to me that I got admission in LSR.
