BE Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2015-01-01
Academics
Most of the academic were very true to their roles. I still am in contact with them due to their effort and the relationship they had with our classmates. The curriculum however is set by Anna university which still seems old and irrelevant to what is actually be used currently.
College Infra
This college is new considering the others so the facilities and equipment were all new and adequate. Mechanical engineering lab had cross section of engine for learning. Every class room had projectors for presentation. We had a few playgrounds which was shared by all loyola students. The college also offers hostel facilities for those in need
Campus Life
The campus life was great since we had access to so many malls and cinemas close to the campus. After college times we would hang out and go to these places.
Placements
The placement department was still new and a few of my classmates were able to source placements in IT companies. I don't know the percentage but I guess around 5-10% in 2015. I believe the placement team would have become better now.
Value For Money
The campus being in the city and close to public transport and the excellent academic staff made it worth the fees. My fees was about 32,500 per year which is standard.

Academics
In my course BE mechanical engineering, the staffing and the teaching quality is awesome. Loyola is know for its updated syllabus and curriculum which is always helpful for the job placements and learnings are perfect.
College Infra
Yeah, this college have all the necessary facilities like purified drinking water in all the floors. The libraries has nearly 200000 books with fiction and non fiction category. Wifi speed and food hygiene is very good!
Placements
This college is know for its placements quality. Nearly 90% students get placements every year which awesome. Highest package is 22 LPA. The average salary package will be 7.5 LPA. Placements process is bit difficult and will help to get very good company.

Academics
I studied b.tech, the course curriculum and the faculty members are good. Most of the teachers who teaches are gold medalist. The subjects they offer are always make ready for job which outstanding effort taken by the management.
College Infra
College atmosphere is very good because in our college you can see many trees everywhere as soon as entering the college campus. Sports activities and culture play a major sole in our college. Hostel facilities are awesome and food is top notch.
Placements
The college has a separate wing for taking care of placements and training. They will be providing the students with placement updates and training too. There are companies like tcs, HCl, Deloitte, byjus, etc conducting interviews with average package of 4LPA.

Hostel fee in Loyola college,chennai woud be nearly in a range of 70K to 90K .Hope this helps .
