• Aspiring candidates need to meet the Mahaguru Institute of Technology Mavelikara B.Tech eligibility criteria.
• The admission to the B.Tech course is based on the performance of the candidate in the KEAM examination.
• A rank list will prepared based on scores of KEAM and academic marks of Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry (or other subjects) in class 12.

• Admission to the MIT Kattachira M.Tech courses is done as per the instructions laid down by the Department of Technical Education, Kerala.
• The candidates seeking admission to the M.Tech course need to fill out the application form at the admission portal of the Directorate of Technical Education. 
• The candidates applying to the M.Tech courses must meet the eligibility criteria and appear for the GATE examination. 
• The seat allocation is done in two categories - one for the government category and the second for the management category.
• The seat reservation policy is followed as per the Director of Technical Education, Kerala.
• The rank list of the candidates is prepared by the Government of Kerala/respective council/Government of India. The rank list is prepared based on GATE score and marks in the qualifying examination.
• Admission shall be restricted to those included in the rank list prepared in the selection process. 
• The admission is confirmed after verification of the qualifying degree before the date stipulated by the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. 
• The final admission is made after the payment of fees.
