The College Gymkhana activities in college life are always special memories for everyone. MIPT students are not the exception to this. They see that each student of the Institute should participate in most of the activities. The objective of the Gymkhana is to provide opportunities for sports and cultural activities, to students by shouldering important responsibilities and authority to conduct sports and cultural activities. These activities encourage social interaction among the students. Self-Government enables students to enjoy the privilege of planning and managing their own affairs through selected student associates.

There is a needful increase in the library's collection of books and journals/periodicals in both, print and digital form, using state-of-the-art facilities. Libraries are trying to build a strong and balanced collection of books, journals, and other resources to cope with the needs of the entire Institute The Library is housed in a newly renovated, independent, spacious, naturally cool & peaceful place. The pleasant environment and the reading area inspire students to learn and conduct research. MIPT subscribes to more than 3,000 books,10 periodicals, 5 newspapers, and 6 General magazines for their users.

The College students have won many medals in individual games like Athletics, Wrestling, weight lifting, etc, and Trophies in Team girls kabaddi. if events namely kabaddi, kho-kho, Cricket, Basket Ball, Hockey, and carom for Zonal Matches as well as some for State level. MIPT always have played an important role in organizing matches for ISSA.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.
