MIST Hyderabad Diploma Admission Procedure

• The admission to the diploma courses is based on the rank obtained in the Telangana State Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (TS-POLYCET) conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET), Telangana.

• Apply for TS-POLYCET through online mode by visiting the official website of TS-POLYCET .

• The candidates have to pay the registration fee of Rs. 400/- for general category and Rs. 250/- for SC/ST category through online payment gateway or any TS Online / AP Online / Mee Seva / e-Seva centers.

• Download the hall ticket from the official website of TS-POLYCET and appear for the entrance exam as per the schedule.

• Qualify the TS-POLYCET exam with a minimum cutoff marks out of 120 marks.

• Participate in the web counselling process conducted by SBTET, Telangana and exercise their options for college and branch preference.

• The candidates have to report to the allotted college with the provisional allotment letter and original documents for verification and confirmation of admission.

• Apply for TS-EAMCET through online mode by visiting the official website of TS-EAMCET.

The duration of the M.Tech courses is two years and the duration of the MBA course is two years.

• The admission to the M.Tech courses is based on the rank obtained in the Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS-PGECET) conducted by Osmania University on behalf of TSCHE. The candidates who have qualified GATE exam are also eligible for admission.

• Apply for TS-PGECET through online mode by visiting the official website of TS-PGECET.

• Pay the registration fee of Rs. 1000/- for general category and Rs. 500/- for SC/ST category through online payment gateway or any TS Online / AP Online / Mee Seva / e-Seva centers.

• Download the hall ticket from the official website of TS-PGECET and appear for the entrance exam as per the schedule.

• The candidates have to qualify the TS-PGECET exam with a minimum of 25% marks

• The admission to the MBA course is based on the rank obtained in the Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (TS-ICET) conducted by Kakatiya University on behalf of TSCHE. 

• Apply for TS-ICET through online mode by visiting the official website of TS-ICET.

• Pay the registration fee of Rs. 650/- for general category and Rs. 450/- for SC/ST category through online payment gateway or any TS Online / AP Online / Mee Seva / e-Seva centers.

• Download the hall ticket from the official website of TS-ICET and appear for the entrance exam as per the schedule.

• The candidates have to qualify the TS-ICET exam with a minimum of 25% marks (no minimum marks for SC/ST category).

• Participate in the web counselling process conducted by TSCHE and exercise their options for college and branch preference.

• Report to the allotted college with the provisional allotment letter and original documents for verification and confirmation of admission.

MIST Hyderabad Required Documents

The candidates have to submit the following documents at the time of admission:

• TS-POLYCET / TS-EAMCET / TS-PGECET / TS-ICET / GATE or any other relevant entrance exam rank card and hall ticket.

• SSC or its equivalent examination marks memo and certificate.

• Intermediate or its equivalent examination marks memo and certificate.

• Diploma or its equivalent examination marks memo and certificate (for lateral entry candidates).

• B.E./B.Tech or its equivalent degree marks memo and certificate (for M.Tech candidates).

• Any bachelor’s degree or its equivalent degree marks memo and certificate (for MBA candidates).

• Transfer certificate (TC) from the last studied institution.

• Migration certificate from the last studied university (for other than JNTUH candidates).

• Study certificates from class VI to class X / XII / Diploma / Degree.

• Aadhaar card of the candidate and parents.

• Caste certificate issued by competent authority (if applicable).

• Income certificate issued by competent authority (if applicable).

• Residence certificate of either of parents in Telangana for a period of 10 years in case of non-local candidates.

• Physically handicapped / NCC / Sports / Minority certificate (if applicable).

Note: The candidates have to produce two sets of photocopies of all the original documents along with six passport size photographs at the time of admission.
