My college infrastructure is great. The classrooms are of large size, and the library has a massive collection of books and research articles. The hostel is of good quality and well maintained, which offers a good living environment. The canteen is of large size with quality food. The campus is well planned with all kinds of facilities one can ever need. There are many sports and medical facilities on the campus too.
The semester examinations are nicely framed and can be handled easily. The most encouraging thing about studying here is the faculty. They are caring, knowledgeable, and always ready to help students. The faculty can create a healthy learning environment where students are not afraid to ask questions and participate in discussions.
I was placed in Research Pixie as a Frontend Executive. Placements through our university are excellent, and about 75% of the students have been placed this year. Cipla, General Motors, Honda Cars, ICICI, Infosys, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Tata Consultancy Services, United Phosphorus Ltd, and Vodafone are some of the top recruiting firms for MBA graduates. Students have the option to choose a career in management, finance, marketing, human resources, and consulting after doing an MBA.
The college has well-furnished computer labs, digital classrooms, and a resourceful library with access to coding software and research journals. The campus is also equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi, although connectivity at times is not uniform. Hostel facilities are sufficient, with separate hostels for boys and girls. The canteen provides various meals, although food quality can be improved. Sports and recreational facilities enable students to pursue extracurricular activities.
Faculty are qualified and experienced professionals who provide education in the theory and practical part of the curriculum. While there are professors who focus on practical learning, others follow traditional ways. MCA is semester-system course based with core and electives so that the students are ready to face the industry. Semester exams are moderately tough, and students who regularly practice programming and concept of theory score well.
Placements for MCA students at campus are good, and firms such as Webkul, Finoit Technologies, and Appinventiv recruit for software development, web development, and IT consultancy posts. Although most of the placements are in service-oriented IT companies, a few students also get placed in product-oriented companies.
The computer labs are furnished with high-speed machines, advanced development tools, and uninterrupted internet connectivity for coding and development purposes. Smart classes and seminar halls facilitate technical learning. The hostel offers appropriate accommodation along with basic amenities, like 24/7 Wi-Fi. The cafeteria serves a range of hygienic foods. There are sports facilities, a rich library with access to online sources, and medical facilities provided on campus to offer a comfortable learning environment.
The faculty members at MIET Meerut are well qualified, experienced, and helpful. They are experts in programming, database management, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence.The semester examinations are moderately difficult, checking both theoretical knowledge and practical implementation. The pass percentage is always quite high.
MIET provides satisfactory placements for MCA students of 3-4 LPA to 10-12 LPA based on technical skills and market demand. The placement cell actively engages with IT and software companies. The infrastructure at MIET for MCA students is satisfactory, with good computer labs, a digital library, and Wi-Fi facilities in academic buildings. The hostels are neat and clean, and the mess has good food with different facilities for girls and boys. The campus boasts several sports complexes like badminton, basketball, and volleyball courts, providing students with an opportunity to take part in extracurricular activities. The computer labs are provided with the latest software, but the hardware needs an upgrade and additional high-performance systems to provide more effective practical learning.
The faculty is well-versed and cooperative in database management, artificial intelligence, and cloud computing. The course content of MCA is nicely structured with major topics such as software engineering, data structures, web technologies, and machine learning. The semester exams are tough, but a good CGPA can be achieved by regular preparation in programming and theory subjects.
The average package is approximately 4-5 LPA, while the higher packages are up to 10-12 LPA for students who are good in coding, cloud computing, and cybersecurity. Core programming skills are required to get placements, as organizations primarily seek good coding skills in Java, Python, and full-stack development. Students who are not good at coding might find it difficult to get good placements.
MCA students possess good infra with well-equipped laboratories, computer centers with internet, digital library, and Wi-Fi facility in the entire campus. Mess food is decent with Wi-Fi facility in the entire campus. Sports facilities are also provided like a shooting range, cricket field, and indoor games. Midnight snacks are available through various food stalls. Medical facilities are also provided in the multipurpose complex for student welfare.
Industry-oriented course syllabus is being taught, e.g., programming languages Python, Java, and C++, and AI, ML, and DBMS. Pen-paper tests have been replaced by online coding tests, hence the students are very much at ease with coding interfaces utilized in real-time employment tests. Semester exams are easy if students prepare for two weeks seriously before exams. While the college provides a solid start, students must initiate learning new technologies and stay current on industry trends.
Placements of MCA students in MIET are moderate, and IT-related placements are 65%. Placement rate of students in Software Development, Data Analytics, and Networking is higher. The maximum package of this year was around 12 LPA, and a majority of the students got placed in mid-sized IT firms and startups. Top recruiters include Tech Mahindra, Algoworks, Trident Analytical Solutions, TCS, and Innoeye Technologies.

Yet, according to some students, the faculty guidance in day-to-day problems and mentoring can be enhanced. MCA curriculum is industry-focused but does contain some general subjects in the first year that could be more specialized in niche streams.
The placement rate of MCA students was approximately 70%. Some mid-sized IT companies and start-ups, and even some blue-chip companies such as TCS, Wipro, HCL, and Tech Mahindra, hire MCA students as Software Developer, Data Analyst, System Administrator, and IT Consultant. Salary package of 3-4 LPA based on technical skill set and problem-solving ability of the student. Also, 62% of the last batch students were placed in software development companies, cloud computing companies, and cybersecurity companies.
The classrooms are fully air-conditioned and equipped with smart boards for interactive learning. Each bench has charging sockets for students' convenience. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus and hostels. The library remains open until 7:00 PM for day scholars and 9:00 PM for hostelers. Hostel facilities are decent, and the food quality is satisfactory. However, medical facilities are only available until 7:00 PM, which can be inconvenient in emergencies.
All Mid-Semester Exams and End-Semester Exams are conducted by the college itself. The updated curriculum is better than before, making it more relevant to industry standards. Semester exams are not overly difficult, and students can achieve an 8.5+ CGPA by preparing thoroughly 40 days before the exams
Around 80% of MCA students got placed. However, the college tends to highlight only the best placement records while many students receive packages below 3 LPA. Some students secure 7 LPA, while a smaller percentage gets 10 LPA or more. Very few students manage to get 20 + LPA, mostly through off-campus placements, for which the college provides little to no support.
Infrastructure is excellent with well-maintained classrooms having air conditions, digital blackboards, and ample sitting areas. Computer labs are updated and well designed for experimental learning. Semester exams are average to challenging, with a pass percentage of 33%, so that the students are adequately prepared for corporate life.
Near 90% of the MCA students got placed after completing the course. The highest offered package was 8 LPA, the lowest was 3 LPA, and the average package was 5 LPA. Further, near 98% of students were given internship offers, in which they were provided opportunities from TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HCL, and various other companies.
There's Wi-Fi, but the overall infrastructure is good, not excellent. Hostel facilities are average, with some of the messes having good food, and some average ones. Classrooms are well-furnished with projectors and smart boards, but seminar halls and labs need to be upgraded. The library is adequately stocked, and the campus has a good canteen, gym, and recreational facilities.
The lone benefit of MIET Meerut is its industry-focused academic faculty and curriculum. The students are prepared for competitive examinations such as CAT, UGC-NET, and banking exams, providing a competitive academic environment. The case study method is given more emphasis in the institution, and corporate exposure is provided to the students in the form of guest lectures and seminars. The faculty is professional and caring and provides career counseling, research, and business strategy to the students.
The placement rate for MBA is approximately 70%. The maximum package is 18 LPA, the average package is approximately 5-6 LPA, and the minimum is 3 LPA. Axis Bank, Tata Capital, Berger Paints, HUL, and Tech Mahindra are the top recruiters. Off-campus placements are the majority, and on-campus placements are primarily from nascent start-ups and mid-level organizations. The most sought-after jobs are business analyst, financial associate, marketing executive, and HR manager.
MIET has good infrastructure for students. Wi-Fi is provided in most of the campus locations, but speed can be enhanced. Classrooms are clean, and the library is a suitable spot for focused study with hard copies as well as online material accessible. Labs are provided with recent software to facilitate students in coding and project work. Mess food is fine, but sports facilities are well-maintained, offering students a healthy campus life.

As per seniors and other students' experience, MCA placement at MIET Meerut is mid-level. Approximately 85-90% of students are placed. The highest salary offered was INR 10 LPA, and the lowest salary offered was approximately INR 3.5 LPA. Average salary is approximately INR 4.5-5 LPA.
