I am currently pursuing a B.Tech in Computer Science with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence at Meerut Institute of Technology. My primary motivation for choosing this field is my passion for building responsive, accessible, and performance-optimized software solutions.
The quality of teaching at the college is excellent , and the faculty provides a strong foundation for aspiring developers. I believe the curriculum is well-updated with recent developments in AI and Machine Learning, which is crucial for staying competitive. The hands-on projects I have completed here have directly contributed to my job-readiness and technical proficiency.
College Infra
The college infrastructure is generally decent and covers all the basic requirements for students. While the library and main classrooms are well-equipped with smart boards, the WiFi can be inconsistent in certain areas of the campus. The laboratories have the necessary tools, but some of the equipment feels a bit dated and could use an upgrade. Hostels are kept relatively clean, though the maintenance response time for repairs could definitely be improved for a better student experience.
Campus Life
The campus at MIT Meerut is well-maintained and offers a peaceful, disciplined environment that feels very safe. One of its best features is the extensive library, which is well-stocked with academic resources and provides a quiet space for focused study. The labs are also well-equipped, particularly for technical branches like Computer Science. However, some areas could use more frequent maintenance, and many classrooms lack air conditioning, which can be challenging during the summer months. While there are various technical clubs and annual fests like Kolaahal, students often feel that sports and extracurricular activities could be more actively promoted beyond being listed on paper.
Placements
The quality of placements at my college has been good this year. Approximately 70% of students from my batch were successfully placed. The highest salary package offered was 15LPA for the Btech CSE department, while the average package hovered around 5 LPA. Different companies like TCS , IBM , Wipro , HP, Cognizant, Chetu and many other small organizations and startups approached here.
The placement process was quite smooth , overall a pleasant experience. I found the college to be very supportive, especially the placement cell, which organized several mock interviews and resume-building sessions that helped me feel prepared for the actual recruitment drives.
Value For Money
The annual cost for my course is ₹96,096. I definitely feel like I'm getting my money's worth because the college provides excellent faculties , good environment for classes , one to one mentorship ,and placement support. The ROI (Return on Investment) is strong, as the quality of education and the industry exposure we receive justify the fees paid.

Academics
My college provide many courses such as Btech, Bca ,Mca and all major courses. Affiliated through both Aktu and CCSU .All teachers are well qualified and mostly have phd in their field.It Provides many training that directly effect your placement.
College Infra
My college has mostly all necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment.
My college has 8 building and All are Fully furnished. My college has a Library that consists of thousands of books and overall the infrastructure is good.
Campus Life
The overall campus life is similar to intermediate college.Only 2 or 3 college fest are hosted in a year . Most of the time campus feel empty. Many clubs are made but none of them are working. There are a lot of bouncer looking around the campus so it's mostly safe for all.
Placements
The overall placement is very low.Only few companies come for campus placement and the company come for placement having high criteria like 8 sgpa and even check your matrics and intermediate marks.Only 50 to 60 percent student are placed with avg package 3LPA.Highest package 12LPA.
Value For Money
The fee of btech with hostel cost about 2 lacs per year it include all costs like bus and registration. The ROI is good in BTech you have to invest average 8 lac but you can get campus placement of avg 3Lpa.
