Mudra Institute of Communication, Ahmedabad was established in the year 1991. MICA Ahmedabad courses include PGDM–Communications (PGDM-C), Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), and Fellow Programme in Management–Communications (FPM-C). MICA's PGDM-C is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and has equivalence to an MBA degree by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). All the MICA Ahmedabad programmes are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Mudra Institute of Communication admission to PGDM programmes is done on the basis of CAT/XAT/GMAT scores. Later, shortlisted candidates are further called for MICAT, GE (Group Exercise) and Personal Interview (PI). MICA Ahmedabad successfully completed the MICA Ahmedabad Placement Drive 2023. The MICA Ahmedabad highest salary package was Rs 36 LPA, while the MICA Ahmedabad median salary package was Rs. 19 LPA. The institute offers scholarships to students pursuing PGDM Communications and PGDM programmes. MICA Ahmedabad scholarships are provided to students based on their academic performance and annual family income. The college has signed a MOU with RSPL Welfare Foundation (RWF) as a result of which RWF provides a scholarship to PGDM and PGDM Communications students in 2nd year of their studies. The scholarship offered by RWF is known as the Poonam Gyanchandani Memorial Scholarship. As per the Mudra Institute of Communications scholarship policy, only a limited number of students are offered scholarships every year.

Good quality hostels. Nice mess and sports facilities. 24X7 canteen for food. Second year hostels give individual rooms. One of the best libraries with rich resources. Open, close to nature feel overall. With a lot of trees around the campus.

The hostels, library, classrooms are all well equipped and welcoming. There are ample sports facilities except for swimming pool. The mess offers beautiful food, the campus is a little far away from the main city, but there are cabs available all the time for hassle free commute.
