About MIT WPU Faculty of Engineering, Pune
Maharashtra Institute of Technology (MIT) is a private engineering college. It was established by Maharashtra Academy of Engineering and Educational Research in 1983. MIT is affiliated to the University of Pune and recognized by the Government of Maharashtra and the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. MIT, Pune Institutes offer four-year degree courses in various branches of engineering. The institute also offers postgraduate courses and Ph.D programmes in the selected area. Admission to all courses is based on merit as per rules and norms laid down by the Directorate of Technical Education ( DTE), Maharashtra State.
Location: Maharashtra Institute of Technology (MIT) is located at Paud Rd, Mahatma Society, Kothrud, Pune, Maharashtra. It is about 17 km away from Pune International Airport. The nearest railway junction is Chinchwad Junction, which is about 24 km away and the nearest bus depot is Kothrud Depot, which is about 3 km away from the institute.

Film Club: The film club of MIT organises periodic screenings of off-beat films of nationally as well as internationally acclaimed directors. The club also does the screening of short films produced by the students. The club also organises film appreciation courses, meetings with film personalities and film festivals.
Abhivyakti: This is an inter-college literary festival MIT. It is held every year in the month of September at the campus of MIT, Pune. Abhivyakti aims to bring the entire student fraternity under the same roof where the young intellectuals can compete in various competitions.
Communication Laboratory: The laboratory develops in students the communication skills, which is required for their professional growth.
Counselling Cell: Counseling cell of MIT provides students with the necessary guidance to deal with day to day issues or severe issues that become a hindrance in their academic performance.
MIT-Entrepreneurship Cell: The objective of this cell of MIT is to provide various information with reference to starting a business to budding student entrepreneurs and to create an entrepreneurial culture among students. The cell regularly organizes camps, seminars, workshops, industrial visits, and other developmental programmes.
NCC: NCC club of MIT fortifies character, command, and discipline among the students. It provides framing for a career in the forces. NCC Cadet Crop organises and trains youth and provides leadership in all walks of life including the Armed and Navy forces. It also creates a suitable environment to motivate the youth to take up a career in the armed forces.
Anti Ragging Committee: Anti-Ragging Committee of MIT ensures compliance with the provisions of the regulations as well as the provisions of the law concerning ragging is in force. It also monitors and oversees the performance of the Anti-Ragging Squad in the prevention of ragging in the institution.

over all infrastructure if the college is so good there are toatal 9 buildings in total which is fully air conditioner & wifi connected all the building ihave thier own gardens & the basic problem is there is jammer inside the college campus

College Infrastructure
The college infrastructure is the best in Pune.The campus is really huge and full of modern domes and architecture.There are huge grounds and 'The Globe' at the entrance is the significance of the place. There are all the facilities like library,gym,swimming pool,canteen,etc in the college.The library is quite enormous and all the necessary books are available in ample quantity.The campus is extremely clean and hygienic.Also the security is really tight as well.

Manipal University Jaipur offers opportunities for growth in extracurricular activities, and the university has the best infrastructure in India. Hostel rooms are comfortable, centrally heated and air-conditioned, and the food served in the dining hall is hygienic, but there is no assurance that you will be hired by a reputable company. Manipal University is a great choice if you already have connections and will be able to find a solid career after you graduate; otherwise, I might not suggest it. My acquaintance from MIT Pune finished and was hired by a good company. She was also well-groomed because she actively engaged in a variety of activities to better herself.

If you are comparing Maharashtra Institute of Technology Pune (MIT) with MITS gwalior then MIT Pune is better than MITS Gwalior for btech course. Whether it is infrastructural, placement or any other faculty, MIT Pune is better than MITS Gwalior.
